Moyle Holiday Home is a large modern 4 bedroom holiday home with mature gardens set in peaceful scenic countryside just over 1km from the village of Milford. From the front door, it is 1.5km to the shores of Lough Fern and 4.5km to the shores of Mulroy Bay. The holiday home is holiday home is a great central base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way in North Donegal and is 22km from the majestic Glenveagh National Park and just over 13km from Letterkenny. This spacious and well appointed holiday home has 4 double bedrooms to sleep 8 comfortably. On the ground floor, there is a living room with adjoining sunroom, a modern fitted kitchen with a large dining area and a separate utility. The property is set in large mature gardens with lovely views overlooking a garden stream towards the rolling Donegal countryside

A Wonderful Holiday Home

My family loved this home! There was plenty of room for us to spread out and we were in a nice, quiet neighborhood with a gorgeous rainbow greeting us every morning! The appliances were great, the kitchen was nice, the showers were warm. We had the added bonus of seeing the aurora borealis and the stars shone against the night sky as there was no light pollution. We also met a few friendly cats who brought us all huge smiles. A must stay!

Great base for our Co. Donegal WAW tour

We completed most of the WAW Co Donegal route whilst staying at the Moyle Holiday Home and our travels were made all the better for being able to come back to this lovely house. A real home from home!!!

Great Views.

Beautiful well kept property in a peaceful location just outside Millford. Outside space has great views and the picnic table in garden well suited for relaxing drinks. Ideal base for sightseeing in the Donegal area.

Spacious Accommodation in Beautiful Convenient Setting

We enjoyed our stay there with its proximity to Glenveagh Castle and Glenveagh National Park. Chris was an excellent host and he was very welcoming and was responsive to any questions we had. We needed to adjust heating due to chilly weather whiile there, and he was able to do so remotely. For anyone wanting to explore the northwest part of Ireland around Donegal, this was a convenient and comfortable accommodation.

Can’t wait to return!

This was a beautiful, peaceful property and was even better than expected. The view from the front is fantastic and the street was very quiet. It was only a few minutes drive into the town of Milford where we grabbed some drinks at Dusty’s and got pizza at Apaches. It was also not too far from Letterkenny where we hit some restaurants and did grocery shopping at Lidl, and it was a good location for our day trip to Dunfanaghy and Horn Head. The bed in the master was a little too firm for my liking and I considered sleeping on one of the many cozy couches downstairs, but I ultimately decided to stay upstairs. Although much smaller than we’re used to, there is a washer and dryer at this house which was excellent to have. Things that we were not used to but were okay once we figured them out were that you have to lift the handle in order to lock the door (we noticed this at several of our accommodations) and that the heat is on a timer and must be set. The owners left helpful instructions and recommendations for the area which was appreciated. We were traveling with 5 of our adult children (ages 25-28) and everyone loved this house and would definitely stay again!

Well kept property

Very nicely maitained house perfect for our four adult short golf break in Ireland. A nice little wellcoming surprise for late arrivals. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Holiday Home, very tidy, very spacious

We had a really beautiful stay at Moyle Holiday Home. Some days before our arrival we received information from Chris by mail and they were very helpful. Everything worked fine, the Holiday Home is exactly as described, no "bad surprise". For questions or any issues we could contact Chris and he replied very soon. We can fully recommend this Holiday Home and also Chris as owner and we will book this house again! :-)

A wonderful warm property with gorgeous views….we stay in a lot of VRBO properties and this had really great heating ..easy to put on for an hour and turn off…the couches etc were really comfortable and it had the most delightful sunroom which even when it rained was a lovely bright little place to sit…we used it every day…the beds were really comfy and the showers were great …this is a wonderful place to be …I will add there’s a beautiful scenic circular walk on the quiet lanes around the house…highly recommend this property ..a real 10/10 place to stay

Einfach perfekt

Wow was für ein tolles Haus. Wir haben jede Minute im Haus genossen und wären sofort 4 Wochen geblieben. Sicherlich kommen wir wieder denn die Gegend ist ebenso einfach nur unglaublich schön. de retour dans le Donegal 30 après, toujours aussi beau et les irlandais sont toujours aussi attachants la location étaient idéalement bien placée pour les excursions, au calme avec une vue dégagée sur la campagne, parfaite pour notre famille de 6 adultes et 2 ados et très bien équipée (petit bémol manque des portes serviettes dans la salle de bain, et peut être la literie sera à revoir) nous conseillons cette location, merci à Chris à bientôt à Milford ! nous

Excellent house. Couldn’t have asked for better.

Thank you Chris for allowing us to rent your lovely home for a week. We were a large family with five adults and three kids. Chris was very accommodating and out and extra fold out bed in one of the rooms. We had more than enough room. The house was spotless. Everything we needed was in the house. Location was great for travelling around north donegal. We will definitely recommend this house to our friends.

Fabulous spot

We were lucky enough to stay a wk here with family and friends . It's a beautiful , well equipped house in a great location. Milford is a lovely little town . I recommend the travellers arms for a meal out or apache pizzas for takeaway. We visited tropical world in letterkenny (about 15 min away) which was well worth a visit with the kids . Also glenveagh national park is stunning and a must see. For beaches , we chose ballymastocker at portsalan (15-20 minutes away) and it was such a beautiful beach.....got great weather and spent a lot of time here . Overall a great holiday, in a lovely house with everything we needed. Thank you

Another great visit

This is our 2nd consecutive annual trip here and our stay was just as great as last year. House location is perfect, with serene surroundings and a great base for visiting near by towns and villages. There's everything you need and more in the house. We just love it here and found it hard heading back home to Belfast today 😭

Simply Amazing!

This property is stunning with breathtaking views. All you need in a home from home and much more. Lots of amenities at the house for a range of ages from our 6 year old to our pensioner parents. Location is the perfect mix of being rural and only being a 5 min drive from Milford. The host was always very prompt with communication and always very helpful. Would love to go back another time. Had another great stay at this house. Nice house, very clean, seamless check in/check out process. The location is fantastic, close to Rathmullan beach, portsalon, downings, ards forest park, the boardwalk. The colmcille trail is a fantastic walk.

Milford stay

This property is spacious and comfortable, travel cot and high chair provided for baby. The location is great, excellent choice if you are looking to explore the lovely walks around Milford or go a little bit further to Fanad, downings or Rathmullan.
