We loved the location with easy access to wildcat mtn park and Kickapoo valley reserve. My daughter loved the new to her puzzles. The sunroom was perfect for lounging. We’ll be back!

Perfect "base camp"

A perfect spot to gather and relax after a fun day of fishing. Having four bedrooms was greatly appreciated. The fire pit was a great way to conclude the day.

The property and house are beautiful! We enjoyed cooking on the fire, playing cards in the sunroom, and hiking at the nearby state park. A perfect getaway!

Cedric provided great maps & information for the home & area. The home had plenty of space best suited for older children & adults as stairs/landing to bedrooms were narrow. Beautiful view & property.

Shady Pines Retreat Review

10/10 would stay again. We had 12 people in our group house was big enough to hold all of us comfortably. We had an amazing time playing games inside to going outside and having a fire. One of the nicest Vrbo’s I stayed at and Cedric was very nice and very helpful couldn’t have had a better time!

Fanastic rural farm house in Amish country!

Our second stay with Cedrick at this vintage farm house in Amish country in rural Wisconsin. AC works great, found the home in immaculate clean condition. We play amateur radio as a honbby and rent Ced's property once a year. Six beer drinking fellas enjoyed the fire pit, large yard for radio antennas, beautiful breeze off the nearby farm field. Is truely a relaxing, beautiful property. Ontario, WI, is the local town that is a short drive away. Meats, cheeses and beer that you would expect from mostly-Germanic Wisconsin are served in full form. Great people at Wildcats bar/restaurant recommended the local 'Amish Walmart and Bakery' which is a super delight for breakfast pasteries. Five stars; exactly as advertised, Ced was great, property clean and well maintained.

A great country farmhouse.

A great weekend at the farmhouse! Group of 10 adults worked out well. Location was perfect to get to Ontario for a Kickapoo kayaking trip. In the evenings we gathered around the excellent bonfire setup.
