Gabriel" gite sleeps 9+ 2 shower rooms

Character house in a green setting. Facing south with clear views facing the gentle hills. Beautiful 8m x 4m salt pool with stairs directly in front of the terrace, not overlooked. Barbecue, pétanque court, sheltered table tennis in an attached barn. Large south facing lot. Kitchen, living room directly overlooking the terrace and the swimming pool. A bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor and three beautiful bedrooms upstairs as well as a second bathroom. Note that the swimming pool is secured by a roller shutter.

Quercy Blanc is renowned for its many medieval villages and its colorful markets. The quality of life is partly through the plate thanks to our local farmers with their wide range of regional products. Cabecous, Cahors wine, Croustilot as well as seasonal fruits and vegetables garnish our tables. Here we take the time to live. In each village its bars, restaurants with their simple and tasty menus and some gourmet restaurants. Children and adolescents love the pleasure lakes in Montaigu-De-Quercy and the smallest lake in Montcuq. The Lot valley with its picturesque villages at the water's edge is well worth the detour. An afternoon in a canoe or kayak and a picnic on a small beach will delight everyone. In Cahors, we visit the Valentré Bridge and the medieval town, in Moissac, the cloisters. All around pass the paths of the GR 65 on the way to St Jacques de Compostelle among hundreds of other paths. Village festivals are numerous during the summer and the atmosphere is festive and rustic as well as friendly. The weekends of plates prepared by the producers are to be enjoyed outdoors in the villages around the large tables and benches, the scenery is guaranteed.

Beautiful property

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property near to Montcuq. The property is perched up on a hill with lovely views of the rural countryside. The pool area is fabulous. The property itself is comfortable, the level of cleanliness was inline with my expectations for such an old property. There are lakes nearby and we made a couple of day trips within 90 minutes of the property. Be careful with the time of year, we stayed in the last week of the French school holidays and lots of the lake activities were stopping for the summer. I would definitely recommend this beautiful propery!

Rien à dire maison agréable propriétaire avenante et prévoyante, il ne nous à rien manqué pour passer un agréable week-end sauf la météo mais ça on y peut rien. Si on devait juste dire quelque chose histoire de ce serait juste que les plafond n'étant pas isolé le son venant de la salle à manger et cuisine remonte dans les chambres mais avec un beau temps on vie dehors normalement :-)

Une belle semaine passée en famille. Le domaine et le gîte sont grands, pas de vis à vis, tout est calme. Un bel endroit pour se retrouver en famille ou entre amis. Nous repartons avec de bons souvenirs autour de la piscine et du terrain de boules. La propriétaire est très discrète et on la sait en même temps disponible si besoin. Parfait 👌

calme tranquillité qualité sur l'ensemble du site réservé, tout comme prévu piscine logement facilités extérieures... tout comme prévu... à 8 bornes de la première boulangerie... Et lors nous en avons fait notre sortie matinale... Dans un village, commune splendide qu'est Montcuq ... marchés 2 fois par semaine + proximité des viticulteurs et des villes typiques (Cahors, Agen, Montauban, même Sarlat est à portée de tir) en fait 1 semaine pas assez ... en fonction

Rien à redire sur la prestation fournie : équipements parfaitement adaptés et propres. Maison très bien tempérée pour cet été chaud. Barbecue et table d'extérieurs bien utiles et utilisés ! Les environs permettent de belles ballades de découverte. L'isolement est un choix... attention si vous aimez le pain frais, quelques kilomètres à prévoir mais on a rien sans rien. Merci à la chaleureuse propriétaire pour ce très beau site. A bientôt peut-être.

Un accueil très chaleureux! Logement très propre a notre arrivée, dans un environnement très calme, une maison très agréable et spacieuse,dans un jardin tranquille avec piscine superbe. Location conforme à la description La maison est agréable et bien entretenue Nous avons apprécié le terrain de boules, la table de ping pong ,le calme et la tranquillité de l'endroit et la piscine trés fonctionnelle .Seul bémol elle est un peu trop rapidement envahie par l'ombre. Nous avons pris beaucoup de plaisir à visiter les villages proches :Montaigut, Lauzerte, le celèbre Moncuq , Bouloc et son école de parachutisme et la belle ville de Cahors. Oui nous recommanderions cette location idéale pour destresser bien loin du tumulte de nos villes.

Nous avons séjourné dans cette charmante maison l’été dernier (2014). Nous étions 4 adultes et 5 enfants. La maison est très spacieuse et chaleureuse. Tout le confort nécessaire était présent. La maison était très propre à notre arrivée. Les chambres très bien préparées avec tout le nécessaire de toilette et les draps à disposition. L’accueil très sympathique également. La piscine correspondait parfaitement au descriptif. L’endroit parfaitement calme (c’était ce que nous recherchions en priorité) et une très belle vue. Ce qui aurait été sympa, c’est de la lumière dans la piscine. Mais apparemment pas possible. Un peu plus de lumière extérieure. Je pense que c’est le seul gros point négatif. La réception internet fonctionne moyennement bien (un peu avec la météo : si nuage, réception très mauvaise). En résumé, nous recommandons cette location les yeux fermés.
