The Knoll - Country House

The Country House is located on the crest of a hill with glorious outlooks to farmland, wetlands and the Great Dividing Range beyond. With stunning views that stretch over beautiful rural land to the Great Dividing Range beyond, the Country House is an idyllic country retreat. The massive wrap-around veranda is the perfect spot to watch the panoramic sunsets over the distant mountains.

The Country House provides superb, air-conditioned accommodation for up to eight people in four large bedrooms - two with French doors that open to the wide, downstairs veranda to make the most of the splendid, rural views. The luxurious master suite has a king bed, ensuite and its own outside sitting area on a private balcony that looks out over the adjacent wetlands.

The Country House is fully self-contained with large dining and living areas perfect for groups and/or families. The lounge room has been fitted out with comfort in mind with an open fireplace, large lounges and huge windows that maximise the views.

Ideally situated between Moruya township and the pristine Dolphin Beach, The Knoll has the best both worlds. Restaurants and shops are only moments away and yet the rural setting is peaceful and idyllic.

A barbeque on the veranda and outside seating for eight makes it perfect for alfresco dining during the warmer months.

Just what we needed

Came down with a couple of my mates for a weekend away. Was blown away. The house and amenities surpassed our expectations. Very clean and neat. Amazing fire places. Comfy beds and plenty of heating for the bedrooms. Perfect bbq. Loved everything about it. Thank you John.

Such a beautiful spot

We really enjoyed our Christmas break here. John was very attentive from the moment we booked. The house was so spacious for myself, husband, four children and my parents. We had all we needed and the proximity to the beach and local attractions was a bonus. I have mobility limitations so the ramps for entry and accessible bathrooms and rooms was great. Loved the wraparound porch and we spent a lot of time just unwinding and enjoying the views across to the mountains. There is a big flight of stairs up to the kids rooms but they loved being tucked away and having their own space to retreat to. The ability to do our laundry and clean up well after beach trips was a bonus. Highly recommend for large families.

Fabulous house in a gorgeous spot

such a great place to stay. beds are incredibly comfortable, showers are amazing and the living spaces are very comfy and spacious. kitchen is well appointed with all the cooking gear you could want. But the real magic is watching the light play with the distant hills - and sunsets are amazing. luckily, you can watch the sunsets from the comfort of the couch! such a peaceful spot.

A must visit!! It is an amazing property.. we stayed there for 4 nights and were sad to leave.. picturesque views from every room, small attention to details with a library, games, Netflix and even a popcorn maker, absolutely clean and oh so grand! Will be back

It is a really awesome place lots of space a high quality home and a great and easy going host. Lots of open fireplaces good sized rooms great kitchen. The grounds are well manicured you don't need to go anywhere its all there for you to enjoy

Amazing is not enough to describe!

It is a beautiful property however we were only 3 so we couldn’t use the most of it! It can fit 6 more people!! Nice, clean and beautiful! Worth its value! John, the owner was very communicative, courteous and very helpful. The property is simply fantastic! Wish we stayed a bit longer.

Beautiful country house with stunning views and great facilities

The Country House at The Knoll Moruya is a fabulous property for families and small groups. The two main bedrooms downstairs are spacious and comfortable with direct access to the all-around verandah and great views of the surrounding countryside. Kitchen is well-stocked and both living and dining areas are very spacious. John is a great host who provided all the information we needed regarding the house in a very timely manner.

A magic place

We stayed over a weekend and wish we could’ve stayed for longer! It’s hard not to fall in love with the house and it’s surrounding. We had a fantastic time here and would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys nature, quietness and quality time with loved ones!

Cosy & relaxing by the fires

Lovely winter stay

We had a beautiful 2 night stay at The Knoll. The home was beautiful, the beds were very comfortable and warm. There was more than ample heating throughout the home and the kitchen had all you needed. The fireplaces, fire pit and views were amazing. Will definately be back!

Truely enjoyable and relaxing

The experience was wonderful! Right from the time we booked, to the communication with the owner, through to actually arriving at the property. The house was perfect for us, it was very clean and inviting. Very comfortable and spacious. We loved the furniture and the wood fireplaces. It was a holiday for relaxing and switching off. The grounds were expansive, and we often just walked around in the fresh air. Thank you.

Luxury home on magnificent estate - Highly recommended

This home is immaculately kept, very clean and tidy. Its spacious set up makes for a very comfortable stay, perfect for short or longer stays. Minutes from town it gives you the country lifestyle without compromise, and head to the beach only 5 minutes drive away. The property is very open, giving room for children to play or adults to kick back and relax. The pictures do not do the property justice, we enjoy our stay here every time. Highly recommended.
