Thanks for the response. Only thing I guess your pet liked being on the couch and loveseat, they had to be cleaned because all of the white spots on them for the next guests!!
Bed sheets not changed, coffee filter container had mold in it, no wifi and pool was not heated. Worst experience I have had with VRBO! Host needs to get it together!!! Very disappointed. Not recommended!!
We had a great time, the only thing was the hurricane damage has not been completely fixed so the pool and spa are not screened but it didn't affect us.
We enjoyed our stay so much. It’s a great house and great location too everything. The pool was sooo nice. We enjoyed swimming in the heated pool so much. And the time in the sunshine felt wonderful.Len, the owner, was so pleasant to talk to and always available. I would definitely go back for another month if available.
This property was perfect for us. We were able to dock our boat and make it simple to get on the qater in the morning. The house was very comfortable and clean! Would definitely stay again.
Great location, easy check in, well provisioned kitchen and lovely pool. The canal out back is a stones throw from the Myakka River So if you come bring a rod and reel for some additional fun. Only downside was the lanai was blown off in one of the storms last fall and the sand gnats will eat you alive without bug spray. Which I'm not a fan pf putting onas it stinks.
I would highly recommend a piece of heaven! The house was lovely, clean, reasonably priced, and conveniently located. Additionally, the owner was very friendly and easy to contact.
All six of us truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to stay there again in the future!
We had a short weekend stay at A Piece of Heaven. The house is as described, still working on some hurricane damage but none the less everything works fine and the beds were comfortable. The pool is redone and great to cool off after a hot day exploring the town. The house is a great location if you are looking to bring a boat and be out on the water. The dock out back is new and provides plenty of room to dock a boat.
It was a perfect ending, to a long day of fixing my tiny home in Harbor Belle, that got damaged during Hurricane Milton. It’s almost ready to be able to live in again. Thank you so much!
This property sits on a canal in a quite neighborhood near several excellent beaches. The home is large with ample sleeping arrangements and a nice pool and spa. The only negative is the remaining storm damage from Ian which the owner is working on. We stayed during Hurricane Idalia and the home held up well and kept us sheltered.

Girls trip
For what we paid for this house it worked out well for our trip. The only negative was the cleaning lady did not do a very good job but it was livable. The hurricane had done some damage but overall I would definitely stay there again. It was a good location between the towns we wanted to visit.

We were looking for a quiet place to enjoy Mother's Day and this place was exactly what we needed. Great house, well keep. Perfect place to check your skills fishing. Fatigue for the amount of work and in need to relax? Call Len.

Hi Carlos, and family. I read your e-mail letter. Thank-you, thank-you, with all my heart for your review. I take your evaluation very seriously, and my staff in Port Charlotte are working diligently to repair the remaining damage and reminders of Hurricane Ian as best as we can. The big issue is money, but thanks to people like you, and the other guests, who use "A Piece of Heaven," your rent money makes it possible for restoration. It just takes a lot of time. Thank-you, again. I appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these remaining issues. God Bless, and hope to see you and yours in the future.

The size and amenities of this property were just perfect for our family. Close enough to beaches and kids loved the pool. Pictures are old but style and set up of property is the same. Plenty of towels for bath and pool. Not the cleanest, I vacuumed the sunroom and got a whole bin of dog hair from previous stays. No laundry detergent for washing them as instructed for checkout.
Unexpected family vacation thanks to whole family but myself being furloughed.
The pictures do not do this place justice. Our family of 10 had an amazing time and plenty of room. Home is in a great location. Safe Quiet neighborhood. Kids enjoyed the pool daily. Only a 15 minute drive to uncrowded beaches, numerous great restaurants, and shopping. . Oh, I can’t leave our the canal. The boys fished nightly, ya never know what ya might snag-alligator, bass or catfish. We plan to try to come back again next year.

The house was very clean upon arrival. The pool area is absolutely stunning! The cage over the pool is no longer there due to the hurricane, but this was not a problem. The beds were comfortable. I loved the split plan of the house, putting the master on one side and the other two bedrooms on the other side of the house. The sun room was amazing! The sliding glass doors open all the way up to let the outside in! Len was a great host. He was very quick to respond when I reached out to him. Very helpful, thoughtful and nice. We loved the place! We will be returning!!!

Pools not heated
House is huge in a nice area, there is some hurricane damage still, but didnt effect comfort of house. However i only choose this listing for the heated pool. The pool was 61 degrees. Not heated. And after i figured out how to get the heater on. The water was still 63 degress 3 days later. Shouldnt be listed as a heated pool.
Overall it was a nice property. Quite neighborhood, and close enough to area beaches(Englewood fishing pier was about 15 minutes away).
Showers were clean, beds were comfortable. Dryer was a little loud, but easily quieted by shutting the utility room door. Pool and spa were relaxing.
I was expecting to catch some crabs and pinfish for bait in the canal behind the house, however no fish were present despite trying every trick I knew, and only 2 small blue crabs after 4 days. The canal doesn't have enough grass to support baitfish, so no bigger fish either.
Check-in was easy, and owner responded to questions quickly. I'd stay here again.
