Located at 881 Sapphire Coast Drive Bournda Retreat is an ideal destination for short stay, self contained accommodation on the south coast of New South Wales. The house is situated in a stunning 70 acre bush setting next to Bournda National Park The retreat is a first rate place to stay on the Sapphire Coast. Below the entertainment room is a tastefully furnished 3 bedroom house with a fully equipped kitchen, 2 x bathrooms( the downstairs bathroom has a shower over single spa bath ). The water supply is tankwater.Outside the bush view is captivating from the 2 covered verandahs. The pristine Sandy Beach Creek runs through the property from Bournda Nature Reserve, providing guests with an abundance of flora and fauna.Tura Beach is a 5 minute drive ( woolies,bws etc ) and Merimbula airport is only 10 mins away with daily flights from Sydney and Melbourne.

Tranquil, relaxed location.

Had a really enjoyable stay with family and friends. The bird life around the property was a highlight. The creek that runs through it is very scenic too. We experienced all four seasons over a long weekend but remained comfortable and relaxed. The pool table is a terrific inclusion.

Great spot for a quiet getaway

I loved this house cause it was away from the busyness from the town but at the same time it was less than a 10 mins drive into town. Location was perfect and it had a big yard at the front for the kids and a basketball ring and other sporting equipment to keep the kids occupied. Seeing the kangaroos every day from our balcony was a huge highlight of our trip. The owner Steve also great with communication.

Great stay, with a very helpful host. I was unable to meet family members who flew into Merimbula from the UK but the host even offered to pick them up from the airport if there had been a problem. Great stay, good family property suitable for children.

Relax at Bournda

My sister and I had a lovely week here. It was a good set up for our two dogs with a dog run attached to the house - kept them close at night but still able to attend to business. The surrounds are beautiful and private but so close to Merimbula, Pambula and even Eden. The south end of Merimbula main beach was an excellent place to let the dogs off lead. Steve, the owner was great to deal with and generous. We will be back.

Peaceful and spacious

This is a great property if you want some peace and quiet and some space for your pets to run around. The house is spacious and well looked after. We really enjoyed our stay and our two dogs loved exploring the large yard.

Had a lovely long weekend, property was beautiful and clean. Great location close to Tathra and Merimbula. Also loved that we could bring our dogs! Steve was lovely to deal with, went out of his way to bring us an extra esky and gave us some fresh vegetables from the property which were delicious. Would highly recommend this property!!

We had a great week at this spotlessly clean property. Lots of space and different areas to sit so you aren't on top of one another. The rumpus room upstairs is great for relaxing and playing a game of pool.There is plenty of room for the dogs to run about and the owner Steve lives near the property and is lovely to deal with. There are some spectacular beaches to visit. North Tura Beach in Bournda National Park was our favourite. It remains unspoilt, quiet and just stunning and only a 10 minute drive from the house. Beautiful part of the world.

Fantastic place for a quite holiday with lots of stuff to do if you want. beautifully maintained with all the necessary stuff plug lots of indoor/outdoor games are available. Great place for a family holiday

Nice house on a large property not far from Merimbula, only 5mins away from Tura beach Woolies. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Our kids loved the upstairs lounge room with pool table/Foxtel and all the sports equipment for playing outside. We could have stayed here for a week in the rain and everyone would have been occupied and had their own space. I loved it that we could bring our dog too!

Great place to stay

The house is in a bushland setting, with great views from the verandas, private,clean and well equipped. The shops and beaches were only a few minutes drive away.The far south coast of NSW is beautiful and unspoilt and we will stay again
