About this property

Cottage at the Marina

This beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable space is 600 square feet, has one bedroom with a queen size bed, a fully stocked kitchen, bathroom with shower and tub, spacious living room with sleeper sofa, dining area in the kitchen and a large outdoor deck complete with table, chairs and a gas grill. Enjoy some meals on the deck! The views of the Indian River are simply amazing. The living space is located on the top floor of the house as shown in the photos - please note that you must be able to safely navigate a flight of stairs.

Located within a small marina, which is the home of a busy, seasonal kayak and paddleboard rental business, it is the perfect place to go kayaking or paddleboarding! From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the use of two kayaks or paddleboards each day during your stay (2 hours per day), are included in the nightly price – weather permitting.

You will be within walking distance of the Clinton train station, Cedar Island Marina and several restaurants, as well as a 30 minute drive from Yale, a 45 minute drive from the casinos. Two lovely, well-known spas (Water's Edge and Saybrook Point) are a short 15-20 minute drive away. Hammonasset State Park (beautiful beach) is a 10 minute drive. The neighborhood has sidewalks for easy, safe walking to restaurants, the town marina, or just an evening stroll.

What’s included:

• A maximum of two (2) adult house guests. Additional guest fees for 3rd and 4th guest will apply. Max of 4 guests.

We couldn’t have asked for anything more! The space was just the right size, perfectly clean, and had everything we needed. Clinton was a quiet town with breakfast spots within walking distance. Lovely Cottage with beautiful shoreline views

Beautiful spot, lovely hosts!

Ann and Chris were great hosts; they made sure we had everything we needed! The house was easy to find, clean and the perfect fit for my husband, 4 month old and me. It was within minutes of restaurants and was close to the Hammonasset state park. The back porch overlooking the water was beautiful and so relaxing in the morning. Lovely cottage get away

We loved every thing about our mini vacation the cottage was beautifully decorated Absolutely Cozy, the bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked if we needed to cook. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning watching the sun rise. We took a leisurely walk around the charming neighborhood there are many restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Our hosts were friendly and very responsive. We hope to make it back there in the fall. Overall it was a great experience.

Nicely appointed inside with a sunny outdoor deck overlooking the marina and beyond. We took a walk among the quiet surrounding streets.
