Adelaide Beach Serenity

This is one of Adelaide's few absolute-beach-front properties. It is intimate beach side living with great sea views from the main bedroom, the dining/living area and the deck.
All you will hear when you wake up is the sound of surf and seagulls. There is "no short walk to the beach". Neither is there a road between you and the dunes. This hidden gem is right on the beach and just 20 minutes from the CBD.
The two bedrooms can sleep up to six people. It has new furniture throughout and bathrooms located upstairs and downstairs.
The property is located between cosmopolitan Henley Square, historic Semaphore and has easy access to Westfield Shopping Centre.

Great beach location

Great location and layout for our family of 5! Very well equipped for travellers from interstate (like ourselves) and from overseas. Close to major shopping centre (Westfield). Kids loved being able to step onto the beach from the back door. Property manager very helpful and responsive and the Easter eggs on arrival (on Good Friday) was a thoughtful touch.

Beach Bliss

Slice of paradise in every way, without any overpriced pretense. Hosts exceeded all expectations in assuring a lovely stay. Unit’s beach location is quiet yet amazingly convenient with a stroll down the beach path to restaurants and more in Semaphore Don’t mis my fav coffee shop...the Swedish Tart. All said, a jewel of a place. Thank you Kristina and Jim.

Lovely beach stay spot

Comfortable home in great location. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck listening to the ocean and watching the birds, then walking straight onto the beach for a stroll or swim. The main bedroom balcony has a beautiful view of the beach, it was lovely to watch th sunset and see the reflection of the moon over the ocean at night.

We had a lovely time at this property. The house was n a great spot, and all amenities were provided which made our stay very comfortable. The house had a good lay out and the two bathrooms/toilets made it even better. Would be great staying here again. Awesome communication with the owner and she made everything very clear, so when we arrived it was easy.

Great place to stay right on the dunes

We had a lovely stay at Semaphore Park which is beautifully located backing right on to the dunes. We ate outside on the deck in the lovely garden and it was only a few steps down to the beach. The beach is calm and perfect for children to swim. We loved the view from the upstairs bedroom over the dune and bay. It felt like a proper beach holiday but wasn't too far from central Adelaide. The house had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the living and dining area comfortable. One of the two upstairs bedrooms had a queen bed and the other consisted of a large room divided in two by a curtain, with a queen bed in the first part of the room and a bunk bed plus a pull-out single in the furthest part. It was also great to have a good washing machine and clothes horses we used in the carport. Thank you for a very comfortable stay.

This is our home away from home. A fabulous part of Adelaide. Accomodation is always clean, comfortable and welcoming. Great for families. This section of the beach is amazing. We have been staying in the area for many years. Always great to come back.

Location was great walk out the doors to the beach. Very quiet neighborhood. Rooms arranged so that even with 6 guests did not seem crowded. Upstairs bathroom lock needs to be fixed. Comfortable but not luxurious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Tranquil and soul-renewing!

Ocean crashing, colourful clouds ever-changeing, sipping a glass of wine on the deck, and listening to the sea birds, was instantly soothing to the weary soul. This lovely, home was big enough for the five of us, yet cozy and homey. Quite and peaceful, yet just a few minutes away from Semaphore and all the cafes. Could not fault this perfect place, and we can't wait to return!

Best part of our holiday!

My family of four thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful house by the sea. The pictures do not do it justice. The views of the ocean were stunning and very relaxing. We received a box of chocolates and wine which made our day. We ended wanting to have more relaxing days at the house then going out sight seeing the house was that good. Thank you for a wonderful stay will be coming back here that is for sure.

Serene Indeed!

We love the beach when the weather is cooler, we don't want to deal with beach side traffic and we want privacy. This property is perfect. A short stroll over a small sand dune and there it is, the beautiful beach, fantastic in the middle of the day, tide is out, sand bars are plenty. The property features are as stated, the beds are comfortable, the table (a little worn in spots) and chairs downstairs are functional. The kitchen is fully equipped with all that we need. There is plenty of lighting and the view from the bedroom balcony is spectacular. A walk in wardrobe alcove is a bonus, lots of towels for the beach provided. Bathrooms both upstairs and down........the upstairs shower is a little small and the door sticks a bit, but again, minimal issue (There were no face washers/flannels supplied). We didn't use the laundry, but it looked good with up to date appliances. Parking for two cars, one under cover, but a tight fit for a family size car. Lots of little extras, food in the pantry, loads of cups, plates etc. Easy location to find, close to a Westfield Centre and Reading Cinemas. Perfect, we will be back.......and the welcome gift of Wine and Chocolates sure made it extra nice.

Beautiful beach side retreat

Love this property, this was our 2nd stay. So close to beach and the calm sound of the waves helps you sleep on a super comfy bed. all the amenities, 2 bathrooms and good size kitchen. Lovely outdoor area and BBQ. Even some groceries in the cupboard and a bottle of wine and lovely almond biccies.

A perfect place to unwind

The house itself is equipped with everything you ever wish for. It's comfortable and well laid out for a quiet time with your family. The location is just perfect, well secluded with a fantastic beach access, just a wonderful feeling when you wake up in the morning. Highly recommended!

Holiday Feel, City Location

Wonderful (secure) property, right on the beach - with a breathtaking view (especially from master bedroom). A two storey townhouse in group, yet felt very private. Property has beachy holiday feel and is very tastefully appointed (good clean new bathrooms were a nice feature). Supplied well (plenty of good quality linen and towels, platters, cutlery, crockery, good bbq etc), a little wear and tear on some furniture but this does not detract from the good level of comfort. They thought of everything to make it feel like a home away from home e.g. excellent supply of liquid soaps, laundry detergents which were appreciated - was the welcome gift!

Wonderful holiday house

We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children (5 and 3), staying at the beach house in early October. The property had everything we needed...and more. So close to the beach, great outdoor area, private and secure. Very comfy couch in the living room. Beds were amazing! Close to shops and the city. The little market around the corner on weekends is great to stock up on fresh produce. Sunsets from the balcony were amazing too. We will be back for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay at Adelaide Beach Serenity, it was a fantastic location and it had some really nice little touches. It's the kind of place you could imagine yourself living, permanently. We certainly made full use of the beach, which was right at the doorstep, and a large shopping centre was only about 10 minutes down the road where we could get all our supplies. The next time we make a trip to Adelaide we will definitely stay there again.
