This home is a super immaculate, upscale, classic ski chalet nestled on 1 private wooded acre. Home features 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths and comfortably sleeps 4 adults and 4 children. Den with wood burning stove & 2 bedrooms downstairs, complete with new down comforters. 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, 1 with 2 bunk beds, sleeps 4, & a full bath downstairs. Master bedroom is upstairs, with area that would be great for a crib. It has cathedral ceilings, large windows, fire place with mountain views in winter. Posh hotel towels, new down comforters, walk in closet & a master bath attached. There are 2 entrances. Main entrance takes you upstairs to living room. Entrance on the ground level opens to a mud room for ski equipment & coats. There is also a laundry area with a brand new washer and dryer. This leads to a family room with has a surround sound system with DVD and TV with cable service & Internet access


Amenities: New Carpeting just installed throughout house!!! Upstairs is a beautiful open floor plan, with high cathedral ceilings & modern ceiling fan, large windows. The living room has a gorgeous floor to ceiling stone fireplace. Stainless steel dining table in dining room. The kitchen has new super clean new appliances & is fully furnished with all the tools needed to entertain. There are beautiful mountain views in the winter, from these living room windows. There is also a blue ray DVD in the living room as well as a new flat screen LCD TV with cable service included, Wireless internet service included. Glass sliding doors to wrap around deck with seating for 8 patio set, Weber gas grill, & natural ultra private setting.
Master bedroom & bathroom located on same floor as living room.

The house is located approximately two miles from town & ski Windham, boasting 2 beautiful golf courses, and many excellent restaurants.

Spring, Summer & Fall activities include mountain biking, horseback riding, swimming, tubing, canoeing, fishing, and hiking trails. Summer and Fall cultural festivals, concerts, art galleries, antiques, fall foliage displays, apple picking and fine theater round out the season activities in Windham, or just sit on the deck and relax! Winter activities include skiing, snowboarding & snowmobiling at area facilities. The house is super ski chalet cozy & warm with a fireplace upstairs and a wood burning stove which warms the entire house through floor vents to living room upstairs.

Perfect Christmas getaway!

Everything was perfect! We came for a quiet Christmas in the mountains with family . This home is a Lovely ski chalet in the woods, with a babbling brook. Plenty of room, all amenities, very comfortable and near everything in Windham! Peter is a great host, very welcoming and responsive. We hope to come again over the winter! Karen & Rich

Clean, comfortable, seamless stay. Great location.

We stayed at the house over Presidents’ Day weekend. There were two families - 3 adults and 4 children combined. The house was very clean, well supplied and everything functioned and worked well. Adults and children had a great time. The proximity to town and the mountain was great. Peter was easily reachable, very responsive, and went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic House

Peter’s house worked better than expected for our ski vacation, beautifully located between Hunter and Windam Mountains. The house was spotless, extremely comfortable, well appointed with everything one needs, and aesthetically pleasing,. Peter is a great communicator and attending to our needs. I highly recommend this rental. We hope to return.

Delightful Ski Cabin

We went with our family (my wife and two sons, ages 10 and 11) to Windham for a 4 night ski weekend. We had a delightful stay at this charming ski cabin. The house is exactly as shown in the beautiful pictures and is kept immaculately clean. The house is on a quiet and pretty road, and is just minutes from the slopes. . Also, the wifi works well -- which is handy if you have to address work issues while you are away. We were joined by our cousins for the last 2 nights and the house easily accommodated 4 adults and 4 children. The owner, Peter, was pleasant and easy to deal with over the phone. He is well organized and the logistics were simple and straightforward. We travel a fair amount and this cabin is perfect for a family get away. We would highly recommend and plan to visit again.

Pleasant stay and convenient to Hunter Mountain ski resort

We booked this place for our long weekend ski trip. The owner Peter was very pleasant and helpful: prompt in answering questions, and providing information on resources available nearby. The house is located at the bottom of the Windham ski resort, and a short drive (15 minutes) from Hunter Mountain ski resort, which was our destination. We enjoyed our ski trip, and enjoyed the fireplace in the house. The house is clean, well furnished and with a nice woods view. I will stay again if we head this way again.

Lovely Getaway

Perfect Place for Weekend Wedding in the Catskills

If you need a 3BR/2BA house that is convenient to many attractions including the barn wedding that we attended in Maplecrest, look no further. The house was immaculate and comfortable, easy to find, had a great living room and back porch, and in a quiet neighborhood.. Peter Jensen, the owner, was well organized in his notes and guidance to household amenities and made sure that we were comfortable in all ways.We would go back in a minute. Thanks to Peter for a great weekend!

I hate to even say how much we loved this place because I would love to keep it my little secret! A few of us go to the Taste of Country every year at Hunter Mountain. This was the 1st time staying at this home. It was immaculate,comfy,cozy,we needed nothing. It is large, the beds- even the bunk beds- were comfortable. Close the the venue, can’t say enough. I am contacting the owner right now - just got home- to book it for next year!

Extremely clean, comfortable, modern and cozy - Perfect for a Family Weekend

First of all, Peter was extremely helpful. He made sure that everything we needed was there and was responsive every time we had a question. He even sent a list of things and restaurants to go close to the house which ended up being really helpful and the restaurant we went for dinner was really good. The house is well-kept, extremely clean and is exactly like it looks in the pictures(or better). We rented the house with a group of 8 people and the space and living area was more than enough. The mountain is 5-10 mins away so we were always one of the first ones in the mountain. We used the barbecue once, dishwasher, cable, oven, freezer, heating system and everything worked worked perfectly. Will definitely rent again soon. It exceeded everyone's expectations.

Wonderful Experience!

First of all what a nice, wonderful owner who was beyond accommodating towards us! We had a family issue and Peter was very quick to help us and smooth out the situation and trip enjoyable and less stressful. The home is very cozy and enjoyed making a fire one evening. Thank you for having us!

Awesome family reunion with skiing thrown in.

Our first time doing something like this. Everything went so smoothly. The house was beautiful. We had 8 adults and all fit very comfortably. No one had any complaints. Everything worked as it was supposed to. The owner was very considerate in making sure everything we needed was there and if there was a problem how to reach him. Our family looks forward to doing this again and wouldn't hesitate to rent this house!!!
