About this property
Garden-front studio
Attached in-law suite with separate entrance has own patio facing onto beautiful back garden. Garden is quiet, and full of birdsong, despite being in the middle of the city. Lounge and dining areas in the unit look out over the garden, meaning you can enjoy the view even when the weather is too hot to sit outside. Dining table has 2 drop-down leaves so that it fits up in the corner when not in use to give plenty of floor space for your daily yoga or exercise routine. The view means its also a great place to get some work done if you're tired of sitting at the desk, or if there are two of you that need work space.
Queen Sealy mattress is very comfortable, and king topsheets and blankets mean there are always enough covers. Bamboo topsheets for summer, flannel for the winter.
Electric fireplace provides ambiance and warmth with no clean up. TV has Roku and air antenna.
Security screens on both windows and French doors means you can even sleep with everything open when the weather is nice and know you're safe.
Kitchenette has apartment-sized fridge with separate freezer section, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, air fryer, rice/slow cooker, conduction cookplate, coffee maker, smoothie blender, and kettle, water dispenser. Conduction cook set, colandar, mixing bowl and cutting board as well as utensils provided. Dishes and cutlery for 4.
Bathroom has walk-in shower and dual sinks in a custom vanity. Walk-in closet means there's plenty of storage space.
The Melrose district in Central Phoenix has 85 restaurants within a 1 mile radius and is in the center of nightlife. There are share bikes 5 minute walk from the house, and the lightrail is 3/4 of a mile away, right across from Indian School Park, where you can get a walk/run in. We are an urban neighborhood. The neighborhood itself is filled with walkers/runners in the mornings and evenings. We moved here so that we could walk & bike to do everything we love.
No pets allowed to keep the space friendly for those with allergies. No smoking allowed in or on the property. No unregistered overnight guests.
7 night minimum. Weekly rate $99/night
If staying 14-29 days, rate is $75/night (contact us so we can send you a deal)
Monthly rate is $50/night

About the host
Hosted by Jacqueline Freeman

Why they chose this property
We were thrilled when we found this house in Melrose, a neighborhood that's known for its strong community and friendly neighbors. There are regular neighborhood events, and mornings and evenings you'll see plenty of folks walking the neighborhood. We were looking for a place where we could walk and bike to the things we loved, but have a quiet garden to retreat to. We feel like we hit the jackpot! We hope you'll love it as much as we do
