Very good

The property was lovely, clean, spacious and the kitchen was fully equipped with really everything you need and all in very good condition.
Each room has it's own en-suite bathroom incl. towels, body wash and shampoo. One additional toilet downstairs.
The location is very remote (Pitlochry 45 min away), next to a river and I suppose in summer it's great for hiking, fishing and other outdoor activities.
In case the description how to get to the property doesn't mention it - you need to drive down a farm road through a gate which might be closed. That was a little confusing. I didn't like that we never met the owner / property manager and that as soon as our stay was over, I didn't receive any answers to my messages I have left.
I would always recommend the cottage though and I would always come back.
Ideal for 6 people (as 3 bedrooms with double beds).

Hi Tina,
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are delighted that you had a great time and that you had everything you needed for your stay. That is a good point regarding the gate. We have never actually seen it closed but will make sure to add that to the directions for future guests. We love to meet our guests too but also don't want to intrude on their space. We don't live far away so more than happy to pop in to say hi and make sure all is ok. Hopefully we will get a chance to meet another time. Unfortunately there seemed to be a glitch with HomeAway over the last few days where we were unable to reply to past guests, apologies about that. This seems to be fixed now, hence able to read your review and reply. Thanks again and all the best for 2020, Noeleen, JnJ Escapes
