Great location, very clean and comfortable, peaceful and great chickens come to visit you at the front door.
Thanks for the couple of days our friends from England loved it.
Schofield Cottage was a great place to stay at Healesville. It was close to the shops but has the privacy and serenity afforded by being at the back. We really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to visiting again next time.
We had an amazing time, the property was fantastic. Great location, well equipped and very clean. The only slight downside was that the WiFi didn’t work but luckily we weren’t there to be connected. Overall a great stay
Well presented, clean, with everything needed available.Plenty of room, quiet location - friendly free ranging chooks are a bonus.

Marlinda, Guy and dog Troopa were excellent guests. It was lovely to meet them and I hope to see them again one day. Highly recommend them as guests to stay at accommodations!
Very nice looking place with nearly everything you need. However although clean, we did find a cockroach on one of the beds. Location was opposite a cemetery which we were surprised about however in the front yard had chickens which were quick cute
Very comfortable, very clean, prompt communication, an extremely pleasant property. Liz was very helpful and kind. My husband and myself enjoyed a fabulous three nights at Schofield Cottage.
Lovely large house, super clean and tidy with everything provided and thought of. All kitchen equipment and lots of useful information about the area. Pet friendly and lots of heating options.
A great place for a long weekend with our dog.

Lewis was a fantastic guest who respected the property. Highly recommended for other accommodation.
One of the cleanest places we’ve stayed which is pet friendly. Liz was helpful and very accommodating. Bed was comfortable, lounge too, cute outdoor bbq area. Loved that the little things like tissues and napkins, milk & coffee were there upon arrival. Safe, quiet, stunning manicured lawns and some friendly chooks.
Our stay was beautiful. Great views from kitchen table, lots of activities to do for rainy days. My daughter got to play with the chickens.
Comfortable beds, great space.
Will definitely book again.
Great location. Well worth price.
Quiet little spot.
We loved it.
Thank you
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Healsville.
It was a lovely property and our little dog enjoyed the enclosed back yard.
My only complaint would be the front stairs. I feel that there needs to be a ramp to access the front of the property, as for someone with mobility issues, it was a chore getting up and down the stairs.
House was spotless and all finishing touches made it feel very homely. Attention to detail by Liz was incredible. The outdoor spaces were so useful; even though it poured with rain while we were there, we were able to use the verandah area and use the size of the property for short "walks" when the weather momentarily cleared.
The chooks made sure we knew where we were staying as they doddled around when we arrived. A beautiful setting, lots of space in the cottage and everything fresh & crisp ready for us to take up residence for a few days while we explored the area and enjoyed the ACO at TarraWarra Estate - delightful!
thank you so much Liz
The property has a lovely homey feel from the moment you walk in the door, very neat and tidy. The setting is beautiful and private. Thanks Liz we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Cottage
What a wonderful cottage, so warm and cosy. Liz was so easy to talk with. Our dog, Emily loved the freedom of the enclosed backyard. Very close to all the lovely cafes but still quiet and peaceful. Loved the free range chooks and spacious garden and parking. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to make our own meals. So omce again thankyou Liz for our amazing cottage.

Barb was a fantastic guest- very friendly, easy going and lovely to talk to . She stayed with her partner and her Airdale dog Emily.
They stayed 6 nights whilst travelling around Australia. They left the property in pristine condition.
Thanks Barb for being so fantastic...have a great trip!!
We stayed for a couple of nights, enjoying the beautiful surroundings and dining experiences that Healesville has to offer. Our host was most helpful suggesting beautiful places to walk my dogs. The people at the local cafes and wineries were also very receptive to us bringing the dogs along. Although our cottage was well equiped (full kitchen, dining room, lounge room, outdoor dining area), we spent most of our time eating and drinking out and about around Healesville. It was foodie heaven! We also loved the friendly chooks and the array of bird life at the cottage. Overall, a great experience!
Tranquil Haven in Healesville: A Backyard Oasis and Feathered Friends!
Just had the most delightful stay at this property in Healesville! 🏡 It's a compact gem with a beautifully green backyard, perfect for some chill time on the front verandah.
What added to the charm? Four friendly chickens that paid me daily visits! 🐔 Surrounded by stunning gardens, the whole place is an oasis of peace and tranquility. It's so quiet that you can hear yourself think.
If you're after a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, this spot is a winner. Highly recommend!
