About this property

ELYSIAN BEACH HOUSE RYE

This peaceful renovated house is located evenly between Rye front and back beaches and moments to the Blairgowrie shops and Cafes 1km walk or drive away.

The house is quite cosy, it will sleep up to 4 adults and two children comfortably 6 adults will be a little squishy during the winter months especially if raining. There is only one large couch that can fit 3 people and an ottoman. 6 adults in the Summer months no problem! Our large awesome deck serves as another living space. The house is also perfect for a couples getaway being 1 or two 2 couples and perfect for a small family.

An open plan living/entertaining area where the kitchen flows though to the lounge/dining and deck with all modern appliances throughout the house. The kitchen is well equipped for all kinds of cooking.

Outdoor shower to wash away the sands after the beach or just to cool off at your leisure.

The living room over looks the deck and trees bringing in a relaxed ambiance. Has a large flat screen TV and gas fire place. A DVD player, IPOD dock and hard drive full of movies will keep you entertained through out your stay.

What a fabulous place for a Peninsular escape. The house is clean, well furnished, has many facilities, a great outdoor deck (with visiting magpies) and in a great location for both the bay and ocean beaches. And in a quiet and green street.Thanks to our hosts who were both easy to contact and welcoming. We hope to return again.

Perfect week away in a beautiful property

Perfect house in a perfect location. The Elysian Beach house is very clean and tidy and has everything you need. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of living space. The hosts are very helpful with clear instructions on the living space and local requirements. The Nepean park is very close, peaceful and relaxing. If you want a few days away from the city, this place will be the 'ideal'.

Property was very clean and well maintained. Kitchen had everything we could possibly need and even great extras like pod coffee and selection of teas, 2 tea towels, sponges and dishwashing cleaner, paper towels, serviettes. Loved the outdoor shower and deck.

Very small and expensive no air conditioning in bedrooms and owner expected us to clean spotlessy

Expensive for what you got small and you can’t expect visitors to vacuum mop scrub bathrooms when you are paying top dollar and only 1 couch to sit on really ????

Hi Helen, Im very sorry you felt this about our beautiful little house. Im not sure where you got the idea we expected you to vacuum, mop and scrub bathrooms from?? We have a cleaner that goes in after each guest to do the heavy cleaning. We provide cleaning equipment in the house for myself and guests to use in case of a spillage, breakage, kids mess etc for the guests own comfort. The Split system in the main living space is has always heated and cooled the place beautifully especially if all the doors and windows are closed it should of remained very comfortable. Fans are also in the bedroom for added air flow. The Living space with one large couch and an ottoman will seat a small family. You could see from our photos we have one couch. Did you maybe have more guests than stated staying? The bunk room acts as another living space for kids and teenagers with the tv fitted to the wall with a USB stick filled with movies. We also have a HUGE deck which acts as another living space during the summer months.

Perfect get away

Great property for 3 friends on a girls week away. Kitchen extremely well stocked and the property was very clean. Importantly the beds were very COMFORTABLE. Absolutely no concerns. Great position in a quiet street, but need a car to get to the beachfront. The property manager, Zoe, was easily contactable. Would definitely consider another stay in the near future.
