Island Rose House Review

This property is a beautiful house that provides you everything you could want or need. It's in a great location. A short walk from the beach and from the centre of town. The driveway is a little difficult to get in and out off if you are in a low car.

A wonderful place to stay!

My family and I which includes two teenage children have just spent 4 days at the Island Rose and found the property very clean and comfortable with everything we required for an island stay. Thanks Lydia and Nancy for making it so easy and the bottle of champagne on arrival was a lovely touch. We spent many hours on the balcony taking in that great view of the beach which is better than the photo!! Worth noting that this property not only has a fireplace for winter but ducted air conditioning too which is great! This is our first time using Stayz and will be recommending this property to others and will stay here again when have the chance to come back to Kangaroo Island!

Beautiful gracious home

From the moment we walked into island Rose we fell in love with it. Well appointed kitchen, spacious bedrooms and lounge room ,comfy beds, and views to die for. The verandah is huge with sweeping views of Cape Jervis and Hog Bay. It is an all weather verandah as it has clear blinds to protect you from all weather conditions. We had all our meals on the verandah looking at the stunning views. Even the roadside verandah has a gorgeous rose garden. We couldn’t think of anything else we would need here. This is our 8th or 9th trip to KI and this is by far our favourite stay. We had nine glorious nights here. Photos don’t do this place justice!! It is way better. Very comfortable and the hosts have everything you could need. We absolutely loved staying here and will definitely be back we are just sorry that we didn’t book more time

Sand in the beds??? The beds were all made that morning with freshly laundered sheets so that’s unlikely I will have the doors checked as they were fine a month ago The bedrooms aircon is fine if set right I will put a notice up to ensure that I’ve had no problem with it before

Lovely Home with a Good Feel
