Ideally suited to couples or small families (pets also included in that reference) who are looking for a remote, country stay surrounded by rain forest. The best things about the cottage is the bush surroundings, old fashioned stained glass, spacious yard, timber windows and old world charm i.e the bathroom.
Dogs love it here and we are often fully booked, so please don't delay, as it is hard to knock you back. Fully fenced too (out the back which joins to the house for pet security and safety, especially at night).
The timber kitchen contains dishwasher, full gas stove and electric oven, microwave, full refrigerator and crockery/cutlery. The spacious and heritage style bathroom comes complete with claw foot bath, and all the quality linen is freshly provided.
Enjoy champagne around your own log fireplace or marvel at the timber workmanship of both and and new furniture, the choice is yours.
The whole cottage and surrounding grounds will be all yours. There are two rooms in this beautiful cottage, the main room features a romantic styled room with a luxury queen bed, linen sheets for that fresh, crisp feeling.
The second bedroom features a two long single beds (ideal for families) Children under 4 are not permitted due to the proximity of the non fenced creek.

We loved our stay at the Mount Browne Cottage- it felt like a true country getaway, yet only 15 minutes to Coffs Harbour. The cottage was beautiful and peaceful and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Best of all, our dogs didn't have to miss out on a holiday, as it was pet friendly. Communication with the host was great and we will definitely be back.
Glenn was a very welcoming and obliging host. The ammenities were everything we expected and needed. Clear information for check in was received. The location is divine! Total tranquillity!

Kathy was a pleasure to host, she was pleasant and easy to communicate with. She is welcome back anytime.
A lovely, two bedroom sandstone cottage 10min out of Coffs. The home was very clean and fitted out with everything one needs for a short or long stay. Glenn, the host, was very accommodating and communicative. We really enjoyed our stays, staying twice on our trip up to QLD and back. You have good privacy but not too far away from all amenities. Would definitely stay again to break up the drive if going to QLD from Sydney.

A beautiful location. Calming and quiet..Not too far from town.
We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Mount Brown Cottage. Everything we needed was provided and the cottage is so lovely and comfortable. We love that we were surrounded by nature yet not far from the beaches and all the excitement of Coffs Harbour.

This is the perfect getaway. Lovely property, beautifully presented and close to town. Set in a rainforest.
Situated in rainforest in the hinterland about 15 minutes from Coffs Harbour, the cottage is private and spacious. I especially appreciated the electric blankets and combustion wood-fired stove which took away the chill on the cool evenings. Although fairly near the road, the area around the house is safe for dogs to wander about. The hosts were attentive and made sure my needs were met.
Lovely quiet location just 10 minutes out of coffs. The cottage had everything that you would expect and then more. We loved it. I would recommend it to anyone.
We had a lovely 2 night stay at the cottage. Dale was great with communication and checked in everything was ok. Not too far from town. Heaps of room and didn't have to worry about the kids making too much noise.

Lovely old brick house with lead windows, wood stove & pet friendly. 10 minute drive from Coffs town centre
We nearly always travel with our young Kelpie cross and to find such a nice cottage that was dog friendly was fantastic. Literally 10 minutes or less to anything you need or want to see. Owners were great to deal with and very friendly. We will be back.
We had a wonderful week at Mt Browne Cottage with our Cocker Spaniel. Gorgeous cottage full of charm - all the mod cons we needed with plenty of space outside including spots to sit and eat or laze with a book. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to relax and a great base to explore Coffs Harbour and beyond.
Being able to have our dogs inside with us like they are at home, was comforting for all of us.
It’s the small touches which made me smile, like the blanket on the end of the day bed on the veranda.
The cottage is adorable and has everything you could want.
Highly recommend.
