Welcome to Trailside. Trailside as the name implies sits next to the highway but don't be discouraged because you can hear the creek running by as well. It is considered a two person cabin and has a queen bed, bathroom with shower, kitchenette with stove, fridge and microwave, gas fireplace for heat, Broadband WIFI, all linens and utensils. We also provide charcoal grills for some outdoor grilling.
We allow most dogs. They must be leashed while outside the cabins. If they are left alone and anxious they must be kenneled if there is any chance they will destroy any part of our property. If they disturb other guests with barking or crying while left in the cabins you will be called to come back and care for them or take them along on your daily travels. Aggressive pets will not be tolerated on our property. PET FEES AS FOLLOWS.... $20.00 for 20lbs & under, $30.00 for 20-60lbs, $40.00 for 60lbs or more. These prices/nightly stay. 1 PET ALLOWED One pet allowed. Remember that all people are not dog lovers as many of us are and we need to be courteous of their choices.

My 15 year old grandson and I just spent 5 days in the Trial Side cabin at
Wickiup. Les and Jackie could not have been more accommodating and fun to talk with during our stay. Great campground and really enjoyed the features of the cabin. Everything that we needed but still felt like a real "outdoors camping" adventure. Spearfish Creek that runs through the campground is full of trout we caught some. My grandson, James, caught his first trout on this trip and we cooked them for dinner. That was a highlight moment for him that he will never forget. Enjoyed talking to Les about his time in the St. Paul-Minneapolis area and then his tips on fishing. Perfect place to stay for a great bonding experience for families.
Looking forward to staying again in the future. Highly recommend Wickiup Cabins
