About this property

Casa Del Sol-Unit B- Great Location

Welcome to Casa del Sol! This newly constructed ground floor unit in Bayamon was built to provide optimal comfort while you`re away from home. It`s located in a quiet neighborhood within a short distance from anything you might need. It is located one minute from the main road that crosses the island from east to west giving access to some of Puerto`s Rico`s most beautiful beaches.
Unit A has it`s own separate entrance and is detached from Unit B by a 10` driveway.

We offer two spacious air conditioned bedrooms, a large 50` screen Roku TV, new kitchen, open concept living room/ dining room and a beautiful, large bathroom. Perfect for a stay with the family. This apartment is also wheelchair friendly containing no steps, 36` doors, 48` hallways, and a large marble shower.

The security camera is facing the driveway.

Guests can park in the driveway in front of the house which is located in front the large iron gates. This parking spot is designated for Unit B.

While I won`t be available in person, I am just a short phone call away.

Quiet neighborhood close to shopping and the main highway.

A car is recommended to get around the island. Parking is available in front of the iron gates in the driveway.

There is a lockbox on the property for self-check in.
Please book and reserve the night before if you are arriving early in the morning to ensure that it`s not unavailable when you arrive. Regular check-in is at 4:00pm.

Part of the reason verbo and airbnb won’t allow booking for guests who are not staying is because it breaks the communication. All messages are sent to the person who books including rules, check in time and check out time. I’m certain you knew check out was at 11 even if your family did not. It was up to you to tell them to leave at eleven so housekeeping could have enough time to COVID clean and disinfect. Check in and check out times are strict because it takes that long to clean properly. Your cousins claimed we told them check out was at 12. We had zero communication with them except after discovering that they intentionally broke a locked screened area so they could use an employees only washer and dryer without regard to the “employees only” sign posted clearly. Because the water supply is under key and they didn’t know that, they couldn’t get it to work so they kept at it until they broke the washing machine which left housekeeping without. Yet somehow they still decided it was a good idea to use the dryer, again, without regard. After your cousins left I was left with a broken washing machine, a housekeeper who was behind by more than an hour and couldn’t even wash clothes, an emergency repair bill for the washing machine, and another for the locked screen to be reinstalled. For a two night stay. I am very unhappy with the outcome. Sorry your cousins had a bad experience checking out.

Nice place.

Only stayed for one night but it was a nice place. We needed a last minute booking and when she had a cancelation she allowed us to have the bigger unit since there was 6 of us! Monthly pest control inspection available on site which was a big pro in my book! Quiet location. No wash clothes tho! Overall a good stay!

The property is located in residential neighborhood. It was clean, and ready for us when we got there. The owner was responsive, respectful and friendly. There could have been a few more linens: washcloths, hand towels, potholders and 'starter' condiments like coffee filters and salt/pepper/sugar. Overall, this was an affordable accommodation for our first visit to Puerto Rico.

I spent over 1 hour trying to locate the property unsuccessfully. The GPS took me to a residence with no # visible. The property could possibly be found during day time but not at night time.

It's a great small apartment. Need ac in the living room on very hot days. What I didn't like was the lack of local TV. I was not there to watch locat TV, but it would have been nice to have. Roku Guide has many channels, but they are not local. That and the lack of ac in the living room are my only complaints. May use this location in the future.

Nice place to stay

We stayed for 2 nights, and it was comfortable. We had some trouble with the AC in our room, turning off at night, but I am sure it was just user error because we changed the mode. I love that the bathroom has a netted opening at the top of the wall through which you can hear the sounds of the night. It also makes cool showers feel amazing since it’s open to air. We were slightly confused about the entrance, but we later figured out that we only have the back portion of the house. We were slightly disappointed that the doors to the backyard were locked because we were very interested in the breadfruit growing out back. Decorations were very nice and simple, and the place smelled nice.

Great location, so close to major stores and restaurants. Neighborhood felt safe and interactions with neighbors was very friendly. The property was clean and staying there felt very safe. Plenty of amenities.
