Accommodation was adequate on short notice, biggest plus was the proximity to several beaches around a great location with a secure yard for our dogs. Would consider staying there again

Glad you enjoyed your stay and the house Erin ,Anytime when your planning to come back to Batemans Bay your always more than welcome to stay again Regards Peter
The property was not as described. It did not have several of the items listed in the ad and as such we were were forced to cut our trip short due to the disappointment the entire family had staying at the property. There was no pool, no internet, no cable/satelite TV, no coffee maker or grinder. The yard had not been maintained fully and a marquee had been left up rendering the back yard useless. The only benefit was that we could have our dog.

Disappointing maintenance of property
Not very clean. Two bedrooms had no light as globes not changed. Exposed light switch taped over with sticky tape in bathroom. No fly screens on most windows. Bedroom windows had fly screens but not attached correctly so insects could still get in. Many insects in house. Broken blinds in front room so no privacy. Linen old and mismatched. Inconsistent hot water supply. Laundry taps unusable.
This is a three bedroom house with all rooms opening off a central kitchen/dining/living area. Two rooms have a double bed in them (quite comfortable), and one has two single beds, so might suit two groups of friends, or an extended family.
The kitchen has all the essentials, including a gas cooker and microwave, and there is a dining table and chairs for meals as well as a large sofa and two armchairs in the living room. We missed having a coffee table, and ended up using a stool (the only thing we really noticed lacking). There is good TV reception and a DVD player as well.
The shower is excellent - nice and hot and good water pressure. However, it is in a small glassed in bath tub, so if you are very short, very large, or have mobility issues there may be problems getting in safely through the door (I'm short, with chronic pain, and found it a struggle, but did manage).
We travelled with a small dog, and she had a wonderful time as there was a completely secure back yard of a decent size that she could run around in and explore. Would be a good place for kids and pets to play in, and there is a swing set, as well as chairs and table on the verandah.
It's on a quiet cul-de-sac, and very peaceful, especially at night. We experienced almost no noise from the neighbourhood, even on a public holiday weekend. The property is close to beaches, including a pretty dog-friendly one at Denhams Beach, right near parks and bushland, and a short drive to shops, so the location is really excellent.
The owner was friendly and honest, and showed us around the property in a very welcoming way.

Great little place to stay
We stayed here with our little family. Great open plan home, very basic with everything you need. Clean & comfortable. The only problem we had was there was little to no place to sit and eat together. Other than that we enjoyed this property.A good outdoor area to chill with a wine on the back deck & watch the kids play. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel very welcomed. Great location short walk to beaches & shops. The property is actually a lot larger than in the pics so we were quite surprised when we arrived.
