About the host

It was over 60 years ago that my grandparents first ventured to the Marborough Sounds where they purchased a shearers hut ( which is now the bach next door). This was to be the start to introducing all of the family to this wonderful spot. My parents then purchased the section next door and proceeded to build the bach that we have today and want to share with you.
I have grown up spending many fabulous holidays in the Sounds and had the fortune to purchase a bach from a family friend nearby some 35 years ago.
We have since purchased Tui Glen from my parents estate so it would remain in the family and so future generations and friends can have the same enjoyment we have experienced over many years.

Why they chose this property

A perfect location for those walking the Queen Charlotte track or for simply wanting to chill out for a few days from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Right on the waterfront and very close to the jetty the property is also ideal if you have a boat as there is a mooring located about 50 metres from the jetty.
Very easy access to the property. An incredible location.
