Nice suburban home. Pool was amazing! Drive to beaches was a little far. Area is more geared to seniors, not a lot of entertainment for the teens in our group.

We enjoyed our stay here at Villa Valerie and made some amazing memories with our family. We would love to come a vacation here again. The rental company was so accommodating and helpful. Thank you so much!
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. The house was comfortable to be in and supplied everything we needed for the pool and kitchen. Check in was easy.
House is in a good location in regards to the city center, Pine Island and the restaurants on the water.
We did need to do some cleaning of the floors and the pool area when we arrived.

Great pool
The furniture was broken, the floors were not clean, but the pool was wonderful.
The pool was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and the house was spacious and comfortable. We fixed most of our meals there, and the kitchen has all the utensils necessary.
By far one the best stay we ve had in Florida. The property had everything we needed. Clean and well stocked. Our host Ms Ann was very nice and helpful and always available to answer any question we had. Grass , pool and spa were well maintained and the neighborhood top notch with all the palm trees. Will definetely go back. I highly recommend Villa Valerie.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Valerie. We especially enjoyed the time we spent in the pool, the spa, and the pool area in general.
The house was clean and well stocked and everything was in good working order. The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood.
On a minor note, the living room furniture and the guest bath could use some updating, but those are truely minor issues. All in all we were quite happy with our stay.
Enjoyed our stay, very nice house and area! A few suggestions kitchen could be stocked with more things for cooking and drink glasses. There was 1 bourbon type glass. Cooking example a dish that would fit in the small toaster oven. May want to make sure cleaning is getting webs that are hanging from ceiling and walls. I did take some down in laundry room. Thank you! We would rent again!
We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Well equipped and had pretty much everything we needed for our 2 week stay. There were a few little things that were an annoyance but nothing that was a deal breaker. I would highly recommend booking this place. They do automatically schedule you in for a meet and great with the property manager the morning after you arrive so if you need to recover from a long travel let them know that timing doesn't work for you but any issue we had was addressed. The bbq didn't work and they got us a replacement bbq with a couple of days.

Beautiful home with a few problems
Beautiful home & location. However, pool turned green on the 2nd day, lost a day for pool time (main reason for rental) since chemicals were dumped in. Also, guest bath tub was clogged. Chemicals were poured in and 7 of us had to share 1 shower for a day. Guest bedrooms tv didn't work for the kids. But we made the best out of the situation.

Thank you for your feedback, because it is very important to us. I am sorry that there were issues with the pool during your stay. I know that the owner was working with his pool person during this to try and get it resolved as quickly as possible. We were not aware that there was an issue with the shower until you reached out to us, which the owner was informed immediately. We will follow up with him about the guest bedroom TVs as well. We are glad that you were still able to enjoy your stay.

Home Great Management not so good
The property was very good, the house and pool were great. Wonderful quiet neighborhood. Our issues were the lack of paper supplies and managements lack of response to some of our problems that arose during our stay. Mainly we could not use the pool for a day because the pool caretaker had to basically shock the pool because the water had become cloudy and green colored. He then set the pool pump and filter to run constantly and that was on a Friday and we left on Sunday it was still running. Also the garage door remote opener did not work. We called the property manager and he said he was sending the maintenance guy, that was Sunday and the guy showed up Saturday the day before we left and didn't fix it.
Overall we had a great stay in this home. My children loved the pool and jacuzzi. They would have lived in it if I let them LOL.. The house is very roomy, and you have pretty much anything you would need in the house as far as cooking utensils goes. The neighborhood is very quiet and the neighbors we met were very friendly. The only thing we had any type of issue with was the beds, they are pretty hard. It could be because we are use to our memory foam beds with memory foam toppers lol.. The beds there are firm so if you like firm beds then you won't have any issues. There were enough beds for us all so that was a plus as well. The main beaches were around 45 mins away from the property. And those beaches charge anywhere from $10-$30 for parking. And they charge $30 to use the beach chairs. So plan to take $50+ to the beaches. Sanibel Island was more of the quiet family beach with TONS of shells. I would def recommend that beach to anyone who stays here. The property manager was very friendly as well. She came by the next morning to answer any questions we may have had and to make sure we knew how to use the pool/spa buttons and all. And to let us know of all the beaches and fun stuff to do in the area.
Overall, I would recommend this property to anyone that was looking to stay here.
We were there for 17 days and had a good stay. There were many minor issues, too many to get a 5-star rating. The heat stopped working on the coldest night there (in the 30’s) due to a humidistat setting that we didn’t mess with, but required adjustment, and we were given no information on it. 2 of the 3 bedrooms did not have working light wall switches. The dishwasher water was turned off under the sink, and we ran it once and then had to search for why the dishes came out the same as they went in. Dryer door switch was broken so that it would not stop when the door was opened. Suction drain cover in the hot tub was not installed, but we kept our feet away from the inlet. Fire extinguisher gauge showed the unit was discharged and would likely not work. No sink stopper for the kitchen sink, making washing the frying pans more difficult. The information said the house phone worked and provided a phone number, but it turned out to be all bogus. There were two propane appliances (grill and outside propane heater), but only 1 tank with propane in it. Two spare tanks were both empty. There were a few other minor things, but overall, nothing major enough to cause significant dissatisfaction. We eventually took care of most of these items ourselves, but just did not expect to find so many small issues that we had to deal with.
On the positive side, staff was always courteous, friendly and responsive. The house was in good condition and clean. Plenty of linens. Pool was wonderful.

Firstly, we would like to thank you for your feedback, as it is extremely important to us so we may always improve our services for future guests. We are sorry to hear that you had many small issues at the home. We always encourage tenants to report problems when they are experiencing them so we may have the chance to resolve them as soon as possible so they do not hinder your stay. We received the items you mentioned once you departed, and we have followed up with the property manager and owner so they can address all the issues. While the propane is the tenant's responsibility, the owner understood the frustrations you experienced and offered to compensate you for refilling both tanks. We are glad that you were still able to enjoy your stay at Villa Valerie.
This is beautiful home/ property. It's as pictured. It’s in quiet, safe neighborhood. Beds are comfy. A/C & Internet worked well. Washer/ Dryer older but work. When you open dryer door it keeps running. Overall good experience. However, we did have some glitches. 1st upon booking on VRBO we had quote & when we got forms from Realty Co it was slightly more. We questioned it but never got answer. Once booked, we learned week limit for electric & we would pay diff. (listing is now updated). Also, if we used grill, we needed to refill propane. We were informed day after our arrival someone would come to home for “ck in” btwn 9am/12 n. We never had this before w/other VRBO prop. Day before we arrived, we rec'd another email that stated due to high vol of ck in’s they asked we stay home 9am- 2pm. We asked them to come on Mon & they obliged. Mon am Ann came ck-in very pleasant, told us only need refill propane on grill if it gets low. That needs to be better comm upfront. Because we didn’t know how much their weekly limit in Elec would buy, we heat hot tub an hour before use & after turn off. We did heat pool for cpl days but not knowing cost we chose to not heat it. Bit disappointing as reason we chose prop was draw of pool & hot tub. We’d rather pay say ten more/day & know we can use it whenever rather than be concerned for going over allotted amount for elec. One MAJOR glitch we had was the hot tub. The pool guy comes on Sun to shock pool. He dumped bucket of chemicals into hot tub at 1:45pm & pump runs daily from 9am til 2pm. He told us to stay out for 45 min. 6 hrs later our daughter went in hot tub. Her new swimsuit was bleached & she got chemical burns everywhere that was in the water. A cpl days later she had blisters & some opened so had Dr visit & meds. I was in touch initially w/owner & he talked to pool guy to be sure this doesn’t happen again. He offered to reimburse her for swimsuit (hasn’t happened yet) & he text me few times to ck on her. Nice guy. Would really hate for someone else to go thru this. For majority of our stay any time we had any concerns the Realty Co promptly replied to our emails. The owner was in touch w/us & they really all wanted our stay to be enjoyable. About 3 days before ck out I sent email to Realty Co about some issues. I never heard back from them. Apparently, they moved on to those ckg in even before we ck out. It would’ve been nice if they acknowledged it. Rec'd sec dep 12 days after ck out.
