We stayed 4 nights and it was a great stay. The cabin was very private and very comfortable. They had everything we needed and the communication was perfect. The little town of Townsend is definitely lived up to its name for us. "Peaceful side of the Smokies." We will be back. Thank y'all for a great experience.

Thank you for the kind words! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and found the cabin comfortable and private. It's great to hear that you got to experience the peaceful side of Townsend.
We truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us and look forward to hosting you again on your next visit. Thanks again!
Great location - super close to the Smokies. We could walk to the IGA, restaurants and coffee. Very clean and a well equipped kitchen. Deck was nice for eating outside. Enjoyed the hot tub every day. Good communication with Bare Tootin’ and the directions they sent were easy to follow with good signage. We’ve stayed in a few different places in Townsend and picked this for the short drive to the park. It’s close to other properties but the trees block the site of everything nearby.

Thank you for your review! We're so happy you had a great weekend getaway and enjoyed the hot tub. We agree that Townsend is a special place, and we hope to welcome you back again soon!
Location, location, location. We had a great time at a great location. The place is central to all of Townsend. Great place to start a bike ride or day trip to the Smokies. Looks down on the Little River through the trees. A few complaints, the bed had a four inch foam pad atop the mattress. We removed after the first night. The cabin is basically built on a cliff. Therefore, to access the river, there is a stairway; but was closed for repair. We were looking forward to hiking down to the river edge. As engineers, we pondered the strength of the deck to support the hot tub. Although that did not stop us from tubbing after biking and hiking. And fyi, the carpenter bees, who are harmless, have began, along with moisture, destroying the ends of the roof beams. Occasionally, the deliberately loud engines from the parkway pierced the peaceful ambiance, but we survived. Highly recommend the place, very private even though surrounded by residents and other cabins which were screened and buffered by the woods. I recommend and would rent again.

Wonderful stay, perfect location! This little cabin was a great base for our visit to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The town of Townsend really is the peaceful side of the park and we had no problem seeing/doing everything on our list. The cabin was clean, the hot tub very clean, and it had everything we needed. FYI- they are serious when they say dont follow Google maps as it will take you to the wrong place.
