About this property

Canal Front home. 2 short blocks to the beach.

** This home is not available for group rentals to guests under the age of 28. Therefore, online bookings for group rentals will not be honored.

Our 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath, canal front home is the perfect home for smaller families or gatherings. It is a short 2 block walk to a guarded South Bethany Beach. A traffic signal at the corner provides safer walks and bike rides. Enjoy Bar-B-Qs and watch boats and kayaks cruise the canal from your deck or yard while viewing beautiful sunsets. The screened porch is perfect for rainy nights.

1 beach street parking permit is provided.

It is a short drive to Bethany’s Main Street boardwalk, restaurants, mini-golf, shopping, ice cream shoppes, and live entertainment.

Our home is available for weekly rentals during the season Saturday/Saturday. 3-4 night stays are welcome off season.

Kitchen is fully equipped. Sheets and towels are not provided.

Parking available on the property.

Our home is cleaned and disinfected between each rental. However, we cannot guarantee our home to be completely Covid free.

Great location

Host was super responsive. Property was clean, spacious and a short walk to the beach. Having access to the South Bethany parking pass helped with beach setup each day. We really enjoyed being on the canal for our evenings. Highly recommend!

It was a great stay! Several electrical sockets didnt work, and we had to buy propane for the grill. Very minor considering. The house was clean, and just as advertised. It was a perfect getaway close to the beach. We enjoyed the back deck and screened porch!

This is our second time staying at this property. Just like before check-in was simple, the home was clean upon arrival, and communication with the owner was prompt. The weather was not in our favor this year but their were board games that kept us occupied until the sun came out! Will definitely he coming back again next year!

Perfect for our family of 4!

This house is just darling - a quaint, retro beach house. I'm so glad these still exist for one or two smaller household to stay in. The location was perfect, the parking pass came in handy for unloading beach gear, the kitchen was decently stocked for a beach rental, and we'd definitely like to come back next year!

Great Beach Cottage

The house was clean, well prepped, and in a great location. We loved the close proximity to the beach. It was an easy walk, even with two young kids. The house had everything described, and was really more charming than the pictures show. It had a great outdoor space for dining, and the kitchen was well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and our stay!

Weekend Beach Trip

Took the family for a long weekend to the beach. The location was perfect. You get the peaceful and less crowded beaches of South Bethany but are in quick (less than 20 minutes) driving distance to OCMD. The house was clean, welcoming, and Pam was super responsive and accommodating. The back deck was perfect for catching up and playing games after a long day at the beach. We will definitely be stayimg here again!

One of our favorite trips

Pam was super easy to communicate with and went above and beyond even leaving beach chairs for us to use! Her property has everything you need. It’s on a peaceful canal where you can watch sunset. Roughly 0.6 miles from beach- but it doesn’t matter bc owner leaves you a parking pass and it’s super easy to find parking with it. The SB beach is really quiet and lovely- still has lifeguards but so much more room to spread out and not overpacked. We’d def come back. Thx for a great stay!

Excellent value

Booked during coronavirus 2020. The property is in a good location for the price. The stretch of south Bethany beach across route one is a little far for walking, especially with small children and beach gear, but with the included parking passes you can drive. It's a very nice and uncrowded beach. The house itself is modest, with small bedrooms and only one shower, but has a good layout for a small family, with plenty of living space. The shower, kitchen appliances, and washer and dryer are older, but all work well. My biggest complaint about the house was the aroma when we got there. I think the previous renters must have had a crab boil or something the night before. The smell got better over the course of the week, or maybe we got used to it. Some of the pots and utensils weren't clean, and I couldn't figure out how to get cable TV working for my elderly mom to watch. (Admittedly, I didn't ask the owner.) There is internet, and streaming services are available on the TVs.

Great Location

Surprisingly large for a small house. Easy bike ride to the quite beach. On the lagoon making easy access for Kayaks. Close enough to Bethany Beach boardwalk to ride bikes. Plenty of restaurants within 5 minutes of driving.

My teens would have preferred a shorter walk to the beach, but the passes to load out beach gear was super helpful. Home was just what we need and I enjoyed the back yard with light shade and the access to many beach reads. Thank you.

Lovely place

We had such a wonderful time staying at Pam’s house. The neighborhood is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway just a couple of blocks from the beach. We had a great time!

Perfect Beach Getaway

This house was perfect for our family getaway. The location is absolutely perfect. It's walking (or biking) distance to the beach, but b/c you also have parking passes you have the flexibility to get there any way you choose! It's also in quieter Bethany, but equidistant to OCMD and Rehoboth if you're looking for more action. The biggest compliment I can pay is Pam's responsiveness. We had a power issue (not the house - the utility company). It was a hot day and we lost AC, but only for a few hours because Pam was ALL OVER IT! We can't thank her enough for the help.

Lovely house, great beach and a peaceful stay.

The modern house offers all the amenities you could want in a beach rental and is really beautifully appointed. Location was longer than walking distance to the beach, especially hauling beach gear; but the place came with parking passes so it was less than a two minute drive away. Very close and convenient. We found the beach not overly crowded or noisy. Everyone seemed very respectful of each other’s space. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Great last minute get away with sons family.

Quiet and relaxing but close enough t towns. Older clean home with all necessary household items. Owner accommodating and. Communicative. Would have been nice to have on site kayak for cruising around canal.

Great house

Very comforting house! It is in a great location on the canals of the bay with a short walk or bike to the beach. Crabbing and fishing is great for children and adults! Overall, wonderful time and will be looking to go back.

Perfect Location & Plenty of Room

The location to the beach and things to do was perfect. We walked & rode our bikes to the beach. If you want to drive, there is also plenty of parking near the beach entrance as well. We also took our kayaks and got in the water right of the dock at the house. Great biking and walking paths. Just a short drive to Rehoboth, Bethany, & Ocean View, We went parasailing in Dewey, rented scooters in Rehoboth, and went paddle boarding in Ocean View. The house has everything we needed and plenty of room. It has all the pots and pans and kitchen items you need. Be sure to take your beach chairs & umbrella. Again, great house!! Thanks Pam for sharing your home.
