The cabin has a large living room with a gas fireplace,the kitchen is modern and nice to prepare meals. It is well stocked with spices etc. There is a great view of the mountains from the deck and from the master bedroom and kitchen/ living room. We stayed for a week and the kids and adults had plenty of entertainment. There is arcade games, board games plenty of channels on the tv and a nice firepit in the gazebo. It was nice having the use of the garage also. Miwuk is close and there is a great coffee shop right at the highway. It was just a short drive to take the kids to play in the snow. Twain Harte is just a short drive and makes for a nice day to check out the town. The host was great and kept in touch to make sure our stay was great. Will definatley be back.

Great Mountain Cabin

Spent 5 days here with my family and this cabin was perfect. It’s large, clean, well stocked and centrally located. It looks exactly like the photo’s. Highly recommend this place.

Twain Harte weekend

We had such a nice time in Twain Harte. The house was spacious and comfortable, and worked well for our family being all on one floor. My son and 2 year old granddaughter enjoyed the game room! Such a fun addition to the property.The view from the master and the deck was AMAZING! Had some gorgeous sunsets. The location of the house was great for getting to local spots: Pinecrest Lake, Sonora, Columbia.Wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to be able to come back sometime soon.

Loved the house!

The house was beuatiful- extremely comfortable and the view was amazing! We loved having coffee on the back deck and the kids loved the game room. (What a great touch!) The owner was extremeley communicative and very helpful. We were visitng for a ski weekend and it was a very easy drive to the mountain. We would definitely stay here again.

Special gem in Twain Harte

We had an absolutely lovely time at our family reunion that we spend at this cabin. We stayed with six adults and two dogs and thoroughly enjoyed all of the homes amenities. The wild birds love to frequent the deck area and we were delighted when we got a few inches of snow and the homeowner said that he would be by that morning to snow blow the driveway. Very thoughtful and much appreciated. We loved this place and are already planning our trip back.

Spectacular deck and view!

We had three generations in this home for a long weekend and the house met our needs really well. The kids loved the "game room" and the room with the bunk beds, as well as toys and board games they discovered in a chest in the living room. All the adults loved the open kitchen, living room and view out to the deck and mountains beyond. Beds were comfortable, too.

Home with a View!

We had a three-generation mini vacation together over an extended weekend and the house worked really well for us. We loved the open design of the kitchen and living room that opened out to the two-level deck and showcased sunset every night. The kids loved the game room (which was right off the kitchen, so it was easy for the grownups to keep track of the kids). Beds were comfortable and kitchen well-stocked. And the location was ideal for us to explore Sonora, Columbia and Pinecrest during our stay. Also loved the ease of access to the good grocery store in Twain Harte.

Great views and entertainment

There we're a few things that were not working properly such as the fridge and telescope and there was no table outside as indicated in the pictures because of damage from the snow. But the archade game's and view were all worth it.

Come for the views alone!

We drove 3.5 hours to get to Twain Harte, so when we drove up the driveway to the house, we could not WAIT to get inside and check it out! The property manager had already touched base with us to see what our ETA was, which I loved. When we arrived, the house was clean, it was spacious, the AC was left on for us which was SO appreciated! Linens, towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner, qips, you name it, along with some food staples are all provided which was awesome. We did bring our own bedding and food because that's just how we travel, but it definitely felt like being at home, everything was easy to locate and there was so much to do and see! The first night we did have a problem with the hot water not coming on, so tepid showers were had. I contacted the property manager the next day and the hot water was back and working, no problem! The views from the back decks, along with the bird feeders, the squirrels and everything else with the house was the PERFECT vacation environment. We loved every minute of being at this house, made some great memories, and would absolutely recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in this area, it's 100% worth it!

Fun weekend getaway with the family!

Our family of six, three adults and three children stayed here and had a very fun weekend getaway. I absolutely adored the view, it was quit spectacular! The added bird feeder fresh with bird seed and telescope was a nice added touch and extra activities we enjoyed. Everything was well stocked and the guest attendant was really prompt in returning my questions. Our family particularly enjoyed the game room, which had arcade games, foosball and darts.... I was particularly fixed on the pinball machine attempting to beat the high score almost all night one evening LOL. We also enjoyed watching movies in the night, as so many tv subscriptions were available to watch, including HBO max, Netflix, Disney, and more... we also had a really fun time playing the many board games that were provided in the game cabinet. The only con I have to say is that, although very clean, and did not smell in any way, the amount of animal hair was a real downside. I do recognize and was okay staying in a place that allowed pets I wasn't prepared for the amount of hair that was everywhere! So be prepared if you have any pet allergies and get annoyed with pet hair on any of your clothes. The couch seemed to be where the most hair was located, but hair was everywhere and unavoidable. I was particularly very grossed out when the nice clean white towels that were provided were set on a small fabric step stool in one of the rooms and I went to pick them up so I can give my kids a bath realized that the very nice clean towels now had pet hair all over them! Despite the pet hair situation, it was a perfect and very fun weekend getaway with the family I highly recommend if you don't mind pet hair on everything that is.

The space of this home is just great! The seven of us fit comfortably. The kids and adults alike enjoyed the board and arcade games. The kitchen was well equipped and more than enough streaming apps on the TV. This place made for a great relaxing get away. The backyard patio was just perfect despite the storm. And the views were an added bonus. Love it all.

Ahhhhhh

It was snowing before we got up there but “Woody” cleared the driveway. He gave us a tour of the house and amenities. Lots of things to be entertained with. We got snowed in and didn’t have food. Woody offered to get something from Twain Harte. He was very hospitable, better than any property manager I’ve ever encountered. And for the cabin/house, it was breathtaking! I definitely recommend this place.

Nice property. The views are amazing! Best part is the back deck and also great views from main bedroom.The kitchen was well stocked. The property manager was close by and very helpful. I thought this was a great value for the rental price.
