From the moment you enter you will immediately enter into vacation mode!
This beautiful home offers everything you will need for a great vacation! Gorgeous waterfront backyard oasis with a covered lanai, outdoor dining and an inviting swimming pool overlooking a beautiful open bay waters teeming with dolphins and manatees! Sit at the end of the dock and drop a line! Pool is heated to 82 degrees. Pool pumps/ heater runs from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. during winter and fall months. If you want the temperature higher, there will be an additional daily fee.

From the inside, the spacious great room open concept offers ample seating for relaxing or kicking back for a movie! The open kitchen comes fully stocked and equipped with stainless appliances.

This 3 bedroom 3 bath home with a study offers a breezy open floor plan with room to stretch out or entertain. The master en-suite has a king size bed and walk in shower! The 1st Guest room offers a queen bed and is also en-suite with full bath. The 2nd Guest room has 2 Full size beds. The study area offers a queen size pull out sofa bed with great views of the pool area and bay waters. BTR#1715

All in All………Dock of the Bay will sleep 8 comfortably but will sleep 10!

Things to know:
- This property offers a 3 to 5 day supply of soap, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags
- You must be 25 years of age to book any of our properties. The person booking the home must be one of the occupants and will be
the responsible party.
- No Smoking. or vaping in the home – up to $500 extra cleaning charge for smoking in the house
- No Pets.
- No Parties.
- No Trailers
- No Parking in garage

IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE REGARDING HEATED POOL:
Pool heaters only function while the pool pump is running. The pool pump typically runs 8 to 10 hours per day.
When temperatures consistently stay below 65 degrees during the day and colder at night, it is not likely that the pool will achieve desired heated temperatures of 82 to 84 degrees. On the rare occasion our temperatures dip into the 40's, the pool heater will not be able to function adequately so will not be turned on.

*This property has a charge of $35/per day to increase the temperature of the pool over 84 degrees.

We do not give refunds or credits for cold weather and or mechanical failures. We will do everything possible to remedy any situation within our control.

To me everything was good except for that master bathroom third world country bed it was horrible old and it the not match the beautiful property itself it was lots horrible I came home with my back twisted even that bed frame or base is super old broken from underneath te rest was amazing

Family Trip

We had three adults and two children. The house was very serviceable and the neighborhood seemed ok. It was near to clearwater beaches and assessable to restaurants and walking. The pool was a bit small and the patios could use a little landscaping but all in all would recommend.

This property met all of our expectations. The interior of the house was beautiful, clean and spacious. The outdoor patio was very nice with amazing views of the bay. Pool was perfect for light swimming and providing a cool break from the Florida heat. Kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were comfortable and clean. Great location too! Only a few minutes from public beach access in Indian Rocks and a 15-20 min drive to Clearwater as well. The only slight negatives is that the pergola out back had no coverage from the sun and the outdoor fans were not installed. Minor issue but would have helped provide some slight relief for the sun/heat. Otherwise an amazing stay and highly reccomend.

Christmas Vacation at Indian Rocks Beach

The house was perfect! It had everything we needed, it was clean and in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The layout of the house and bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our 20 year old sons and their wife and fiance. We had a lot of together time, along with space to get away. Mornings drinking coffee, visiting and watching dolphins was especially memorable. Thank you for a perfect stay! The beach and the sunsets were beautiful too!

Spring Break 2024

We had a fabulous stay in March for Spring Break. The house was just like described and had everything we needed including plenty of beach towels and chairs. The beach was just a short ride away and was so beautiful. Tons of local restaurants made dining out fun and delicious. The house also had a great kitchen that made eating in a breeze. Taylor from Seaside Property was great at answering questions and always quick to respond. Overall it was a great week and we would definitely go back!!

We had a enjoyable stay in Indian Rocks! The house was clean and the property Manager, Taylor, was very responsive to minor concerns during our stay. It would be great if there were more or updated cooking utensils. Otherwise, I would recommend this property.

Lounging in luxury!

Amazing! We enjoyed the property and the area. The management company was the best we have ever encountered and they went above and beyond to help make our trip memorable. We would highly recomend The Seaside Property Shoppe (property mgmy company)--they know the area, they worked hard to deal with variables, and they were creative with solutions and options. I will strive to use them again based on this eperience. Property was clean and stunning! No negatives to report at all! Worth every penny we spent and more!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 6 stayed here for a week and had a great time. PROS: The outdoor space is wonderful and spacious and the shaded patio was quite welcomed. The indoor space is mostly an open concept with the kitchen, dining, and living rooms all amenable to conversations. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nothing fancy but they are quiet and private. CONS: The kitchen. If you like to cook you will find that it is not stocked well at all. Very few pots and pans; not a sharp knife anywhere; few cooking utensils; only 4 wine glasses; limited amount of plates/forks/spoons, etc... However, the fridge is big and cold and the ice maker is fast. There are also 2 sinks, which is handy and the kitchen is large enough for several people to be working. Lastly, we only had 1 toilet roll per bathroom and 1 paper towel. You will probably need to replenish during your stay. Highly recommend Dock of the Bay and we would definitely stay here again.

Not what we were expecting

The house was in a beautiful location and views were great, but the infestation of roaches were disgusting to say the least! Before arriving I was informed that pest control would be coming out during the week to do their bimonthly treatment. Thought it was odd they were coming during my stay as they had to have access to the interior, but agreed to the day. Upon arrival, we noticed the kitchen had roaches in the drawers and fecal droppings on the counter in various areas. I immediately contacted the management. The response I received was disappointing. I felt it was downplayed and brushed off. They informed me the droppings were just from Palmetto bugs. First, those are a type of roach and second these were not just Palmetto bugs but actually looked like german cockroaches! My sister lives in the area and knew exactly what they were! I took pictures and forwarded them to management. Fast forward after pest control and the problem just increased! I reached out again and the response was I’m sorry we’ve never had this issue! Really? Needless to say we were completely disgusted! Ended up eating all meals out and was unable to make any use of kitchen! In addition, if you know anything about roaches, these roaches are known to be “hitchhikers”. We brought our luggage home and left it all outside as a precaution. We did not want to bring any back to our home! Such a huge inconvenience and disappointment!!

First and foremost, we’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations, and we sincerely regret the concerns you had regarding pests in the home. This property receives professional pest control treatments on a bi-monthly basis, and in Florida, sightings of palmetto bugs—especially in coastal or wooded areas—are not uncommon despite preventative measures. We remain diligent in addressing these concerns. You first notified us on May 25th about seeing bugs, and the following day shared photos of what appeared to be droppings. As no photos of the insects themselves were provided at the time, we relayed that the droppings were consistent with palmetto bug activity. We immediately contacted the owner, who ensured that the scheduled pest control visit on Tuesday would proceed as planned. After confirming with you on Tuesday that the service had been completed, we did not hear back until Friday when we reached out to coordinate your departure time for the Saturday cleaning. At that point, you sent additional photos. Unfortunately, given the timing, a follow-up pest control visit before your checkout was not possible. We appreciate your kind words about the home’s location and views, and we truly regret the inconvenience this situation caused. While this appears to have been a rare and temporary issue, we understand how unsettling it can be and have taken further steps to prevent recurrence. Regards, The Seaside

Needs Some Work

Arrived to dirty living areas and a dirty pool. Management company sent another cleaner in on Sunday which we appreciated. Pool remained dirty until the pool repair company came on Thursday afternoon to replace the filter after stating “ that’s pretty dirty”. We realize this is not the fault of the property management company but still disappointing because we did not feel comfortable swimming in the pool after finding and using pool test strips under the kitchen sink. I did end up paying for a night at a nice hotel so we could enjoy swimming in clean pools for 2 days. The patio table is extremely cheap and missing a chair. It only rained once the week we were there but also rained in the house due to two separate areas in the ceiling that have water damage and have not been repaired. This lead to water streaming down from the ceiling onto the floor (I have video). The house is not well maintained by the owners (weeds and landscape included). The Nest alarm went off one evening upon entry, extremely loud, would not shut off. We were not ever given a solution for this other than to unplug it (didn’t help), wrap it in towels and place it in the garage in a cooler until it died. Pros: the house is well laid out, the master bedroom shower is fantastic, the location is good, the view is beautiful and the beach is pretty. The management company is also responsive in a timely manner. We made the best of it because we were all together.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house and view were beautiful! We vacationed with our extended family including my elderly father. The reclining furniture was so convenient for him as his mobility is limited. The dock was great for fishing. We lost count of how many fish we caught. So fun! The layout is great for large groups with several areas to gather. The back area was perfect for morning coffee. The pool is perfect also for evening swims. I was a little worried about not being on the Gulf but, honestly, this view was exceptional. The bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were updated and beautiful. A few small suggestions: there were only bedside lamps in the master suite. It would be nice to have bedside lamps in all 3 rooms. Also some hooks on the back of the bathroom doors and more towel racks would also be great. Other than that, the property was perfect! We would definitely return and surely hope we can!
