Beautiful location looking out at trees and mountains. Extremely comfortable stay considering the cold. It catered for everything we needed. Will be going again so thank you.
A small view of the western Glasshouse Mountains, with plenty of rolling countryside to view from the wide patio and nearly all the spacious windows. We were needing a washing machine...or where to access one nearby.Lovely open plan living area with all needs supplied, tho no hooks in the bathroom. We would have loved to have stayed to linger longer amongst the quiet countryside.
Wonderful cottage, really enjoyed our stay. Impeccably clean property, well maintained. Good size for small family. Has almost everything you could need. The most beautiful outlook from the deck to while away hours watching the neighbouring cattle on the lush rolling hills.
Cons: Has no laundry facilities so longer stays aren’t feasible. Nightfall brings many small bugs into the cottage even when all windows etc shut up - not sure installation of fly screens would help as they are teeny insects. Definitely bring insect spray (we stayed in summer, might not be an issue in winter?). Curtains on the double bedroom and lounge are too small for the cavity, so sunlight soaks in early and limits some privacy.
Not written in the description is that there are two cottages on the property, about 10-15metres apart. The sense of seclusion might be inhibited if there are guests in both properties at the same time.
Recommend the property - and good, timely comms with the property manager too :-)
We couldn't be happier with our recent stay at White Cedar Cottage, set in the most beautiful setting. The cottage was immaculate and beautifully presented. Very comfortable and had everything we needed, honestly could not fault it. Highly recommended, can't wait to visit again.
Swift communication from the host, property was exactly as shown.
We only stayed for one night but it was great. Easy to find and check in, close to Malaney and the gardens and stunning views.
Thanks Bev.
The property was well equipped (linen and kitchen), clean and cosy with great heating options. A tranquil green view from the deck. It suited us with older children but no safe play space for younger kids. We did struggle a little with signage/ house numbers and finding the correct property.
