Guests will love this newly renovated 1br/1ba unit located on the ground level of a historic 1830's home. The home has all modern, high-end finishes while maintaining a refined "Southern Charm". Located on a beautiful residential street in the heart of Downtown Charleston within walking distance to all of the main points of interest, you will truly experience life as a local Charlestonian.

The home is a large, historic multi-unit complex with a grand main house and smaller carriage houses in the rear. The owner lives upstairs in the main home and there are long term tenants in the carriage home. The renovation of the exterior of the property is still a work in progress.

The homeowner has three very friendly dogs that may be present in the yard at any given time.

There is off street parking at the rear of the home but it is unpaved and low lying and can get wet when there is significant rainfall.

Suitable, good location but still a work in process (renovations)

Interior apartment was nice and clean. Some of the furniture needs to be upgraded (i.e. living area couch) . Exterior looks nice in the pictures, but be prepared for construction materials and every-day household clutter. Driveway into parking area not suitable for small, non-SUV vehicles

Not the same as photos

The location is good for access to the downtown area. The unit is in a basement location on street level. Parking is actually on a dirt driveway with parking in the rear. Not well lit and if it rains the driveway is mud. First, the photos are not indicative of the condition of the unit. The entryway to the apartment was dirty with debris in the walkway. The furniture in the living room is very dated and worn. Kitchen area is functional but not well equipped. Bed was comfortable. . The one bathroom is very small with only one light located in the shower. No light over the sink area. The owner lives over top of the apartment. She has three dogs that are let out very early in the morning and they bark. Same in the evening. No cable TV in either room. This could be a nice unit but needs to be updated and clean, especially the entryway. We would not stay there for any future visits to the area

Honeymoon Sweet!

Fabulous location! Get to Charleston walking 15 minutes anywhere. Nice decor. Great piano playing. Very nice people :).
