This facility is located on the west side of Shirakawa river, in the very center of many touristic places.

It offers convenient access to numerous famous places such as Gion, Yasaka Shrine, Chion-in Temple, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Sanjusangen-do Temple, Heian Shrine, Ginkaku-ji Temple, Nanzen-ji Temple, and Eikan-do Temple.

It is approximately an 8-minute walk away from Higashiyama Sanjo bus stop, Higashiyama Station, and Sanjo Keihan Station. 24h convenience stores and shopping streets are also within a walking distance away from the location.

Free Wi-Fi is provided. Strollers and baby chairs are also available (request required).

Excellent Traditional Property

This house was amazing. In the heart of Kyoto with all the traditional feel you want to make your experience super authentic. The owner was super responsive with communication and we all had a lovey stay.

Location location location

Can not fault the location, close to train, old Kyoto and local shops and great little bars. Bath is much smaller than expected 75cm across, beds very firm, you may need a little extra padding if you have back issues. Host and checking excellent, kitchen well equipped. Overall a very happy experience

My family loved this VRBO the most on our trip to Japan. The decorations and atmosphere, the location (quieter tourist area with tons of food nearby, as well as kimono rentals and cooking classes), and the proximity to the busier shopping / tourist attractions within walking distance as well. Very clean and obviously more used to western tourists with English instructions and larger glasses. :) The host was very helpful too with solving an issue when booking and responding to messages. I used google translate at points with messages and all worked out fine!

Excellent location

There was a little local shopping street nearby. A few minutes to Higashiyama station, and walking distance to Gion, Yasaka Jinja and Chionin. The house was roomy and clean!!
