This property was amazing it really made our trip to PA worth it. We were able to fit all of our motorcycles in the driveway and have a very peaceful place to rest and fellowship with out friends and family.

The house was great for our purpose. Absolutely loved the outdoor space. The kayaks situation was a bit unclear and the hot tub could use some attention but otherwise it is a great house to spend time at!! Wish we had time for an entire week’s stay.

We rented the home for our daughters Wedding weekend which was already a stressful time. We were excited for the location, porches and the stunning view of the river. So to arrive to the house with a broken air conditioner from the start with the house over 76 degrees the first and second day which was being used to get ready for multitude of events. It was fixed in the evening of the 2nd day so 2 of the four day we were staying it was uncomfortably hot in the home. Issues with the flooring coming up and broken in spot that hurt your feet if stepped upon so had to wear shoes in the common areas and halls. Also the hot tub was a big plus for us to rent the house but it could not be used since it was to hot and over the recommended temperature for us to be in. We paid way too much money for the use of this home with all the problems we had.

This property on "the lake" was an awesome retreat for our guys group. The living area was perfect for hanging out and a few late night movie sessions. Some of us spent an entire afternoon on the front porch just chatting and watching the boats go up and down the river. The patio with the awesome water view was great for group meals outside and the griddle grill was perfect for a quick pancake breakfast on our final morning. The upgrades to the property that have been completed already are thoughtful and really make the house a good fit for a large family or group gathering. There's plenty of beds and spaces for people but enough area to gather together for large meals or board games without excluding anyone.

Soooo comfortable and peaceful. The beds and bathrooms were stellar. Very clean with great views. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and it’s natural surroundings. Excellent hike right across the street! Lake Clarke across the other street. Couldn’t ask for more.

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful location overlooking the Susquehanna River! Ample room for gathering, both inside and outside. We were a group of 7 female adults (60) and number of beds & bathrooms worked out great, with plenty of towels. The one improvement would be in regard to kitchen accommodations ie there were no dish towels, and only one roll of paper towel for 4 days and would have been helpful to have more wine glasses & coffee cups.

Perfect Weekend Away

The house was clean, comfortable, and only an hour from Baltimore!! The property manager was super helpful and came out to the house when the hot tub wasn’t working. Would definitely go back!!

Sight & Sound

This home was just perfect! It was clean, had everything we needed and was in a great location to travel to the theatre and shops during our stay. Our family of 10 had plenty of room to hang out, play games, and sleep. Even took a morning walk along the lake front. Definitely would come again!

Hiking along the Susquehanna

The house was perfect. The host was very accommodating. We were a goup of 7 retired men that hiked the the rail trails across the river in Lancaster County. We loved being on the river and enjoyed the fire pit each evening. We will definitey book again.
