Calderdale Terrace is a lovely property, situated on a quiet street but still very close to Hebden Bridge's restaurants and pubs. It's an excellent base to explore the beautiful local area. Paul and Joanne were friendly, helpful and responsive hosts. Highly recommended!

Very clean, comfortable house with everything we needed and very short walk to the heart of Hebden. Would not hesitate to recommend (unless mobility issues as bedrooms accessed by quite steep stairs).

Thanks for the 5 star review Alison and delighted that the house added to a enjoyable stay in our "home away from home" . The house is one of the few 4 bedrooms offered as a holiday let in the area. The current stairs does meet todays building code .. we actually replaced the orginal stairs in 2019 when we did a complete rebuild of the home as they were extremely steep :) We hope we can host ypou and your party again in the future .. thanks for your support .. Paul
The property is as described and a clean comfortable base, with parking, to stay in an interesting and vibrant town that has a really good selection of pubs and restaurants. Many other places of interest are within easy reach.
The owner and the team that look after the property communicate well and are very good with all bases are covered.
I would highly recommend this property.

In Hebden for a Wedding, location of accommodation was perfect, 1 min walk to the centre, parking for 2 cars. Accommodation was as described in booking info, spotlessly clean. Nothing to moan about unless you want a garden to sit in as there isn't one 😀 would def stay again if staying in Hebden

Perfect place in Hebden Bridge!
This home was perfect for our stay in Hebden Bridge. The location couldn't have been better. It had 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, which was perfect for our family. It was very spacious. The only thing it doesn't have is a dining room table, but that didn't bother us at all since we ate out for most meals. The owners were so helpful and super friendly. We will definitely recommend this place to friends and family traveling to Hebden Bridge and we look forward to staying again!

Thank you to Landon and his family for staying at Calderdale Terraces in the center of Hebden Bridge, and we are pleased that the house added to a great visit to great community. The dining room table situation is a challenge in a smaller property. and we are looking for a better a solution, as you are aware there are many many places to eat within walking distance of the property and we are pleased to note that yoiu managed to find just some of them during your stay !!! We hope to see you again.

Thanks Geraldine .. we are delighted to know that you and your party ... glad to know the stair climbing maybe offered a little offset for the many tasty indulgences on offer in our community !!! hope we can host you again in the future.. Thanks for your support Paul
Ideal for our family of five. We mostly ate out, so can not comment on kitchen contents. There was a pile of rubbish outside of the back door and the refuse collection is quite complicated. We understand parking can be a bit tight but we had no problems at all. Loved Hebden Bridge and surrounding area

Hi Helen .. We are pleased to know the house was ideal for your family needs for your visit to Hebden Bridge. Sorry about the accumulation of rubbish at the rear of the house. The collection service has been very erratic due to the Covid situation. We are taking steps to improve matters. Good to know you enjoyed the town and the surrounding area. Thanks for your support
A beautiful cottage in a lovely central location. Loved our stay, made all the better by the neighbour George who was brilliant. I’d definitely stay here again. Clean, tidy and well looked after and great communication. Was just perfect!
House was as described and very well equipped. It is situated in residential street but is just a few minutes walk to the cafes and bars of the town centre. Overall we were very impressed with everything and enjoyed spending time in an area we hadn't visited in years.

The property is perfectly located for a stay in Hebden Bridge and the surrounding area. A very short walk from the town center you need not use your car if you don't want to as there is plenty to do, see, eat and drink nearby. The cottage is spotless and well presented. Parking is NOT an issue as long as you are considerate and follow the guidance given You will not be disappointed.

We found the cottage perfect for us. We would just advise there is not a shave socket so if you use an electric shave don't forget your adapter plug. Also you need to take hand towels but bath towels are provided. No towel in downstairs WC.

Sorry about the towel situation .. we normally leave out at least 3 sets of towels for each of the 5 guests , I will check with our housekeeper and ensure the matter is addressed thank for bringing to our attention. Sorry to come up short on the electric shaver socket .. we think search for a solution. Glad you found the rest of the house suitable foe your needs and pleased we met your expectations and thank for the referral to your local friends greatly appriacated .
We used the property mainly as a sleepover due to the fact that we were visiting family and friends but it provided everything that we expected. The house was clean and offered all the amenities, even extras such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk etc which was very welcoming.

Thanks for the positive review .. we are pleased the house met your expectations and we hope "our home away from home" added in some small way to a great family festive season.
This was an ideal house, centrally located with hardly any distance to the centre of Hebden Bridge.
Rooms and bathrooms were clean, though the duvets were a little heavy for the time of year so a bit warm for us, but we went at a very 'in between' time of year for the weather!
No issues, only thing we would say is it's a little tricky for parking, however we did get a spot and didn't move the car until we went home, so it wasn't a problem.
All in all a great place whilst staying in HB.

Response from VrboOwner on 28 March 2020
Hi Katie ... Thank you for the positive words, we are "remote" hosts and we are lucky to have a house keeper that takes a great pride in the way the house is presented .. our street parking is tight but we have taken steps to improve this matter in the new year. If Hebden Bridge is the destination then our central location does tick the box .. we are most grateful for your support and if your travels bring you back to HB we hope to see you again .. maybe in our new offering just 3 doors away that will be completed shortly and should be available early 2020 !!! Thanks again Paul & Janice
Attending a family wedding this was an excellent location, central to where we needed to be. The property was brilliant, beautiful and clean, everything as expected. Also a special mention to George next door for being so helpful.

We are ex-pats living in Canada.. with family roots in the north of England. although Canada is our adopted home today .. we carry those North Country values which have served us well and are as direct result of our connection to the area, and we are proud of our heritage and we especially proud of Hebden Bridge and the diverse community that embraces all.. truly a global village... something to experience.
Why they chose this property
We inherited the property in 2009 and decided to do a complete and full upgrade & renovation. New roof / kitchen extension / all new electrical, plumbing and heating systems. complete new kitchen, 2 x bathrooms plus down stairs washroom. will sleep 5 adults with comfort. Our family has occupied the house since 1937 and we have many good memories of this home and could not bring ourselves to part with it.. It is our "Home away from Home" in a great community "that cares"
What makes this property unique
Location! Location! Location! a walk to everything in Hebden Bridge .. come in your car and park it .. or just come on the train. The property is one of the premium offerings in the area .. certainly none better.
