We had a great time here! It was very clean and well stocked! We loved coffee on the porch and hearing the rain on the tin roof. It’s a really big cabin and plenty of room for a family
Stayed at this lovely home over the Christmas Holiday. It was nice to have a place for friends and family to celebrate that was roomy and well decorated. They even decorated for Christmas!!
What a neat place to stay. Combo of rustic, comfort and convience. Fantastic getaway. When we arrived there were issues with the grill on property. After a phone call the grill was replaced in short order.
Lovely cabin. Advertised grill would not work and there was a hole in the deck makingIt dicey with an active three year old. It would have been nice to use the entire deck. Cabin was clean and spacious. Contact with the caretakers was quick and easy.
The family, including dogs, had a great time at nearby dog friendly hikes. Thank you Ms Robin!

A trip with all the family including the furry 4-legged members makes a trip even better! We are so happy the whole family enjoyed the home and that you had a good time in the Center Hill Lake Area!
We had a great time gathering with family, the home was very roomy! I loved the dining and kitchen area. We spent most of the time at the farm house table talking and putting together puzzles that where there. We found some really good restaurants downtown as well.

Thank you, Diane! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us!
We hope to have you back, soon!
The cabin was beautiful. It was very clean and comfortable. The decks were very spacious with plenty of seating for everyone. The floors were creaky but it gave the place more character. The only animal we saw was a black lab that was very friendly. He listened very well and played fetch with the kids. He got along very well with my dog. Thank you for sharing your cabin with my family and I. When we come back we will definitely book again with you!
Our stay was a girl's getaway for my birthday. It was perfect! We bought dinner and groceries Friday night in Cookeville and never left the property again until check out. Very relaxing getaway. Thank you so much.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you so much for the review!
My family and i traveled to the area to explore the local waterfalls and it didn't disappoint. The house was in a great location and was very quiet. Everything that was promised was delivered.
We also went to the local marina and rented a pontoon for the day, the people there were very nice and accommodating. Wonderful people and place!!!!!!
We loved our stay here. Very spacious, private, and clean, with comfortable beds. Has everything you need. You just need to get coffee, groceries, etc. Lots to do in the area. Only one bathroom but it was fine with us four adults. Loved my morning coffee on one of the decks but especially in the front on the rocking chair. Would definitely return!
We absolutely loved our stay at this amazing cabin! It felt secluded but still close to the interstate. You can tell the cabin is cared for because it was spotless when we arrived. The only thing we would have liked the cabin to have would be curtains in the downstairs bedroom. There wasn’t any privacy due to that. Other than that one thing, our stay was perfect. I highly recommend!
We absolutely loved this Cabin! The kitchen is phenomenal.
The pictures in the listing really don't do this place justice. There's a room designated just for dogs that is perfect and we instantly regretted not bringing our dog with us but, will next time because we will definitely be back again soon! We had plenty of Hot water and the bathroom is large. The only thing that we didn't care for was the Clawfoot tub/shower. A walk-in shower would actually make that Cabin completely Perfect! My husband stated multiple times during our stay, that he wanted to buy that house! That's no somehting he says often!

No heat, had to move to hotel
My family stays in about 4-5 vacation rentals a year and always enjoy our stays. In fact, I have never left a negative review but felt like I needed to warn others. We have stayed in this house in the past and enjoyed it but this time was different. We were supposed to stay 2 nights over the holidays during a very cold spell. The first night was fine but we woke up and it was 57 degrees in the house. After engaging emergency heat the temperature continued to fall. Also the pipes completely froze even with the water running on all the faucets! When we decided to leave about 10
am the first day, the temperature had fallen to 51 degrees in the house. I understand weather events are not the fault of the owner, but heat is a basic necessity. We were in town visiting relatives and they all had warm homes and running water. We had to move to a hotel and the rental company refused a refund for the night we couldn’t stay in the house. My husband had to return to the house a couple hours after we left to look for something and it was so cold in the house he could see his breath! It was a major disruption to our holiday events.

I am deeply sorry to hear about your experience. I understand that you have never left a negative review before, but felt compelled to warn others due to the seriousness of the issues you faced. It is unacceptable that your family had to leave the house due to insufficient heating and freezing pipes. I understand that these issues are not caused by the owner, however, the well-being and comfort of our guests is our top priority. We take all of our guest feedback very seriously. We do not want any of our guests to experience a disruption to their plans. We can insure you and the future guest this was a one-off problem due to record low temperatures in our area. This issue has not happened in the past and we made measures for it not to happen again.
