Very good

Place clean and tidy immaculate close to shops and a good central location. The beds were average and the showerhead didn’t give a really good shower but they’re the only things. Thanks for our stay. We really appreciate it.

Liked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
Very comfortable large home. Good location. Lovely towels and toiletries. Responsive host. However bedside lamps would def be appreciated in the 2 main bedrooms, and only 1 bedside table. Nowhere to put suitcases up to unpack. Foldable luggage racks or even stools an ottoman or chairs would be appreciated. Overall a nice home.
Excellent location. The listing was very accurate and well kept. There were plenty of useful items in the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry including a clothes DRYER!
Really positive experience with the place, amenities, communication, location. The place was so cute and well maintained with almost everything being thought about.
Only small negative was the bed and mattress (single) was very soft and therefore quite uncomfortable. Almost felt like a was sleeping in a hammock.
We appreciated the basic food stuff: Tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and oil. It was clean and comfortable, and there was lots of space.
The light in the back double bedroom was temperamental, perhaps the remote needs new batteries.
A good and quiet place to discover the surroundings of Rotorua
The house gives plenty of places with the vaste sitting room, dining place and the big kitchen. Unfortunately the weather was not good enough to spend time on the nice place outside. The beds were nice and soft but for us too soft. On the pictures the house looks less old than it is in reality.

terrible
house was burgled by tweakers while we were sleeping.
Stealing items and selling them to local second hand dealers, this area is targeted by the government induced homeless living in temporary hotel accomodation at the end of the road.
I don’t mind old fashioned furniture/decor but there was wallpaper peeling off the walls, old and stained bathroom furniture, a few blown lightbulbs. But ultimately it was the very strong smell of rotten eggs that put us off, as they get the heat from a thermal bore hole. We weren’t prepared for the smell in the area of Rotorua so that didn’t help. But it was very strong around this property. We asked to be moved and InnList team kindly moved us to another property a few streets away. The smell was evident now and again at this one but nowhere near as overwhelming.
The house was nice enough and walking distance to the city centre. However, when we walked into the house there was a slight damp mouldy smell in the house. We booked for six people but one of the guests had an asthma attached as a result of the mouldy smell they were unable to stay at the house. We had to book alternative accommodation. We paid for 6 people at the house and only 4 people were able to stay. As a guest had travelled from the UK to visit us, this spoilt our stay unfortunately. The house was mostly clean however the bathrooms need better cleaning. Without the damp issue, this would be a 4-star rating.
Made our holiday a pleasant stay. Besides being very secure and private, all provisions provided as committed. Will definitely book this place in my next visit.
Highly Recommended!

We were 4 adults, 2 Americans and 2 Kuwis. The house was exactly what we needed, close to all amenities and spacious which made for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended.
Wow what a warm house would be so good in winter but all I can say is thank you for the fans in summer! Maybe in future a security door on the ranch slider would help. Beautifully presented home, comfy beds, clean and tidy.

Thanks for your feedback Karen - great to hear you enjoyed your stay :-) The house is thermally heated which is fantastic in the winter but it can be completely turned off for these warmer months by turning the tap on each of the heaters. You'll have to come back in winter!
