The Day Hike | 3BR Modern Cabin in Blue Ridge, GA

In the heart of the Aska Adventure area, The Day Hike offers mountain views and unbeatable trail access for hiking, mountain biking, or trail running. This modern cabin features three bedrooms and three bathrooms with large decks on both the upper and lower levels.







If you love the trails this is the house for you. The Green Mountain Trail, of the Aska Trail System, crosses the driveway with one direction leading you down to Lake Blue Ridge and the other connecting to over 16 miles of trails. Grab your bike or hiking shoes and get on the trail without ever moving your car! Then come back and enjoy a fire in any of the three fireplaces while relaxing in the mountains.







Great shops, restaurants, and wineries are not far away as the drive to downtown Blue Ridge is only 7 miles. Likewise, the marina is only 7.5 miles away. Additionally, there are numerous fishing, rafting, and outdoor adventures all around. There really is something for everyone in Blue Ridge and The Day Hike provides excellent access to it all.

This is a new property and the homeowners wish to maintain the quality and integrity of the cabin by offering a pet-free, smoke-free environment. Please honor these rules and help them maintain this beautiful house for guests to enjoy for many years to come!



 



All Bed Linens and towels are provided with this rental. The kitchen is stocked with utensils, pots, and pans. There are no food items, spices, or condiments provided. 







You will be provided with 5 Kitchen Trash bags, 2 rolls of paper towels per Kitchen Sink, 3 packs of dishwasher detergent, 1 10 oz Gain or Tide laundry soap (6 loads), a small 2 oz bottle of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner per bathroom with tub or shower, and a bar of hand soap per bathroom sink, 2 rolls of toilet paper per toilet.  You will also be provided with a souvenir Willow Creek Cabin Rentals tote bag to take with you. Please make a note, this is a starter kit for your arrival. If you require more essentials, you will be required to purchase those. No more items will be brought to the property.

Guest will be required to complete Willow Creek Cabin Rentals Rental Agreement and provide WCCR with a copy of Driver`s License. Reservation will be canceled if guest refuses to complete Rental Agreement and provide a copy of Driver`s License.

Wonderful property. The drive up to the property is the only negative. It is situated high on the mountain, and the majority of the road up to the property is a gravel, one lane road. It takes 12 to 13 minutes to go 2 miles. The property is lovely and met all of our expectations.

We love this property. The view is breathtaking, tons of outdoor and indoor seating, beds were very comfortable, it overall was a nice enjoyable quiet piece of heaven. The property is very clean and has everything you could need. The property management was very helpful and super accommodating. This is our new place to stay whenever we visit blue ridge. If you’re visiting in the winter I suggest driving a vehicle that has four wheel drive it’s a pretty steep incline up. This place is a 10 out of 10 can’t wait to visit again.

We arrived at “The Day Hike” cabin and immediately fell in love. I was really hoping that the pictures would do it justice and it turned out to be so much more than that! Three couples gathered for a pre-Christmas getaway. The cabin offered enough space for each of us to be comfortable. We checked into the cabin on Sunday afternoon and checked out on Wednesday. We never left the cabin. Our favorite time was spent by the fireplaces. Very nice break. During the booking process I spoke with several different ladies. Each one I spoke with was personable and very friendly. The way my calls were handled made me more comfortable with making my reservations. Overall great experience.

Unless you plan on off-roading for 2.5 miles to get to this cabin, stay away. That’s right, 2.5 miles of single-lane twisting/turning gravel roads. This is nothing more than a rental broker going through VRBO. Shame on me for not paying closer attention…going forward we will only rent from individuals only. Last but not least, the fact that they had a nice framed signed on the kitchen counter indicating “YOU MUST VACTAE THE PROPERTY BY 10a.m”…not very welcoming. This is not a reflection on VRBO, this is on Willow Creek Cabin Rentals…very unprofessional.

Everything was perfect except the fireplace not working and the lack of communication from management on the issue prior to or during our stay, even after we asked about a repair timeline. It would have been better received if management proactively acknowledged the issue and offered a solution. No acknowledgement and not responding to the question left us disappointed with the management company. We inquired via text message the night of our arrival about the gas fireplace issue and never received a response during our stay.

This cabin is by far the best cabin we have ever rented. The drive in is through a forest area and it makes driving in or out a pleasure to see. The cabin itself is gorgeous, the architecture and craftsmanship is so above what we have seen in many rentals over the past eleven years. Our stay was pure luxury and our view was amazing. There are windows upon windows of views. Even though there is a minimal amount of other cabins in this development you feel as though you are alone on the mountain. This cabin could easily accommodate three couples and still maintain privacy for everyone. Furnished and decorated with not only beauty but comfort in mind. If you have the opportunity to get into that master en suite you probably won't be in any hurry to leave. A wonderfully designed bath on one side and access to the deck by the fireplace on the other. I know most families now days include pets but having allergies I appreciated the cabin being pet-free. We have never stayed in the same cabin twice but we are definitely renting here again! Thank you for providing such a beautiful cabin our stay was our best vacation yet. Easy communication through texts but staff always provided a number someone could be reached.

Blue Ridge Getaway

The property is amazing and was very comfortable for 6 adults. The cabin has everything you need and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking materials. The property is close to downtown Blue Ridge, the Blue Ridge Marina and the Bear Claw Vineyards. We enjoyed going out each day and exploring the area and coming home to views while sitting on the spacious deck. We will be back!!!
