4 Bedroom Home with private pool steps to ocean!

Welcome to the "The Pearl" of Kure Beach. Who doesn't want to have their own private pool on vacation? This 4 bedroom, 3 bath home is sure to entice you back year after year with it's old school charm and quiet location just a couple blocks from the beach. The main house is one of the original beach bungalows from the military base that has been lovingly kept up and is all one level.

"The Pearl" has one bedroom with a King, one with a Queen bed and another with a full sized futon to make you feel right at home. In the spacious pool house out back you'll find a large sitting/dining area with a 4th bedroom that has a King sized bed and full bath.

But you will want to spend all of your leisure hours relaxing in the oasis like pool area that features a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. Enjoy a nice cold beverage while lounging around or in the built-in seats of the crystal clear waters. You may never want to leave; but if you do you'll find plenty to do with shops and restaurants nearby, along with the fishing pier, the NC Aquarium and historic Fort Fisher. The beach is a short 5-minute stroll to the public beach access just south and across the street.

*Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events. For more detailed information on specific pools, please feel free to contact our office.

The house and pool house are lovely. Nicely decorated. The rugs were a bit dirty and could use an update and there was quite a bit of dust from the ac ducts, perhaps a new filter is needed. But our stay was great and we enjoyed ourselves!

This was perfect for our family of 6. The house was decorated so beautifully, super easy walk to the beach. Close enough but far enough away from shopping and dining but the gem was most definitely the pool and back yard area. It was like our own private little oasis, well kept pool and beautiful well maintained landscaping. We spent most of our time there. The pool house was also absolutely perfect. First time at kure beach but we all agree we have found our spot and plan to return next summer to this very spot. Thank you

Great Family Get Away

Great stay. Short walk to the beach. The pool is a HUGE plus. Close to the Aquarium, the museum, and drive on beach, the pictures are a good representation. This is not a negative, but for informational purposes- No dishwasher. The main dining and entertaining area is in the pool house, but the kitchen is in the main house.

Perfect location and setting!

This home was perfect for our family of 7, including young children. We were a short walk to the beach, but rarely wanted to leave our pool and the back yard. Everyone fit comfortably, and we immediately felt at home. Absolutely perfect - we will definitely be back!!

Great Place for Two Families

This property was a perfect place for 3 children and four adults to spend a week. The kids loved to swim several times a day. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone. We had a very relaxing vacation.

Good but not Great

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The layout is good, but for the amount of the stay this place lacked some key basics in terms of a serviceable home.The house A/C constantly runs and cannot keep the main house below 75 degrees, even though we kept it shut tight all day. (A tech did come and added "a touch of Freon" that still didn't do the trick on a a system well past it's life-cycle. The dryer takes 4-5 dry cycles to dry a 1/2 load of laundry. (I had to remedy a pretty extreme fire hazard once I checked the dryer vent on the outside. Over 6" of packed lint was removed.The second addition, outside, is cool all the time. My daughter has stated the shower out there feel “squishy.”Overall, impressed with the response on the stove, even thought it ruined our cooking schedule for several meals. The A/C was checked into immediately as well, so no issues with Bryant Real Estate responses. I would expect major appliances to work at a vacation property at these rates.Also, my aging Uncle sat down in one of the wooden chairs today and it crashed down on him. He’s okay, but I did notice that a person fell last year on a bad bench and got hurt?Overall, we are just “ok” with the house. I also checked the previous reviews and a lot of the beginnings start the same. I cannot in good conscience leave a great review. I can say the layout was great, but the main house could use some serious renovations if the owner would put a few weeks of income back into the place.

Lovely home with issues and poor response from management team

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived, the shower in pool house was out of order. I called Bryant Realty and the person I spoked with promised to look into it along with a few other issues and return my call. No one ever returned my call. I called at least 3 times. On Wednesday a nice gentleman came to the house but was unable to fix the shower. We had 5 women renting this home ages 67 to 83 and the 2 staying in the pool house needed that shower. We feel we should be compensated for the inconvenience and the house did not meet the advertised amenities. Other issues include the pool was full of sand and leaves when we arrived, no one came to clean it until the Saturday we were leaving. Cleaning was sub par, floors were not swept but kitchen and beds were clean. Floor in kitchen by bathroom had loose tile. Washer smelled like sewer when we used it, it needed cleaned with HE cleaner, most likely. The back screen door was not working correctly, glass slides down and the seal was broke. Could not keep the air set to 74, it kept resetting to a lower temp. The coffee pot cleaning light was on. There was a sign on fridge that said ice maker did not work. The house was cute and decorated well. The landscaping around the pool was lovely. I would rent the house again if the shower in the pool house was fixed.
