We had a lovely stay recently. The property was peaceful and quiet with great views. The attention to detail, lovely provisions, wine, etc were much appreciated. The hosts provided great recommendations for the area and we look forward to staying here again.
We were blown away by the attention to detail, the host went way above and beyond what is expected from a short term rental. Sour doe bread and butter, complimentary wine, some cured meats juice, breakfast stuff etc. Really pleasant to just arrive and be able to get stuck immediately into our wine discovery weekend.
Excellent property. Fridge and food items appreciated

About the host
Hosted by Tony Austin
Grant and Tony were frequent visitors to the Barossa before buying this property. We have renovated the spacious apartment for guests and are quietly renovating the rest of the property too.
Why they chose this property
This is a beautiful home on 7 acres with glorious views. It is just a short easy walk into Angaston, but is uphill on the way back! There is a footpath all the way, but lighting is limited at night so you may want to use the torch on your phone.
What makes this property unique
Angaston is a historic town of great beauty with many delightful homes and public buildings. The property itself feels remote but is central and easy to find. For those staying longer, be assured that there's doctors, chemists, supermarket, petrol stations and even a regional hospital with 24-hour emergency department.
