The cabin was so clean well maintained. We were very comfortable while staying there. I highly recommend this place for a vacation. Not far from several places to visit. Loved it.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Neat, clean remote. Great place to kick back and do nothing. Water has typical oder (tannins) for the area. Water pressure is very low.
My girlfriend and i decided for a last minute trip to the UP and we picked this cabin. Very nice location not too far from Escanaba for a beach town kinda vibe. We seen a lot of water falls while up there as well. The host is fast to reply and very easy to communicate with. Good hunting cabin or base camp for sight seeing. Thanks again for a good trip!

UP Fly Fishing Camp
Overall property was good, in fact property was better than appeared in photos online. Property was clean and comfortable for the three of us and an unexpected visitor. Owner had a very nice touch with about 5-6 clear glass jars on the kitchen table full of sweets, candy, chocolates, mints, etc. Only 2 complaints, water pressure was very weak and fees added to rental rate were very excessive. .
Water pressure is terrible, flies and lady bugs are out of control for march, water smells of sulfer, driveway wasnt plowed, and seemed pricey for what it was. Pictures dont do justice for how run down it is
Property was actually nicer than photos on-line showed, so that was a pleasant surprise. There was just three of us and a 4th visitor. There was plenty of room for all of us and we where only a 10 minute drive down to the Escanaba River where we were fishing every day. My only complaint was water pressure was very weak , so it took a couple of minutes to fill a coffee pot, not a big deal. Owner had a very nice touch by setting out several clear jars on the kitchen table full of sweets, mints, chocolates, etc. My only other complaint is that the VRBO actual price was 60% more than the published base rate, after all the fees and taxes. Fees were excessive. Even though we liked the place, unless fees are reduced, we will be staying elsewhere next year.
Cabin was cozy and had the right vibe. There were hundreds of black flies with no fly management tools available. Should at least have some traps or sticky tape out. The water was very stinky and the hot water has extremely low pressure and tasted awful, so bring your own. Also the gas grill they brag about has no propane cylinder so you'll want to bring that as well. There are also no garbage cans in the driveway, so you will have to haul your stuff out or risk getting hit with an extra charge for not "taking the garbage out" as described in the checkout process. The price is very high for all the issues but if they could manage the flies, fix the water and have a propane cylinder it would be perfect. The location is very awesome.
