This is a cool cabin in the woods. Just what we needed to get away from it all. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The locals we met were very friendly, and we enjoyed talking with them. We also took in the Potomac Eagle train ride and enjoyed the town of Romney. We look forward to staying here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The trees surrounded us at both front and back sides of the house. Nice walking trails in the woods to get lost in. Singing songs by the fire pit. Truly a great way to let go and slow down. Until next time, cabin in the woods.

Getaway weekend

Cabin was clean and sufficiently stocked with linens and kitchen supplies. Had a basic coffee maker and small stove with electric burners. Small loft area and decent size bedroom off the kitchen. Small bathroom. Porch on front covered and back porch would have Mountain View’s in winter. We were with friends 18 miles away on the Lost River so we did not explore immediate area. Would be good for hunters or fishermen. Access to North River and Lost River and hunters map in cabin. No Wifi and TV did not have a signal. Served our needs for a weekend

Very cozy!

It was a beautiful stay! Everything was very clean and neat when we arrived. So cozy!2 things to watch out for but not a deal breaker.. or not a bad thing it's something to be aware of,1. Their neighbor BEFORE the house has a golden retriever, he jumped up on our truck twice driving through and scratched my husband's truck all up. It only happened once but just be aware of the dog jumping, drive slow!2. The water smells like eggs or sulfur which is pretty normal for a house that doesn't get used very often. Once the water was turned on for a while it got a little better but it is pretty strong. That's all!The neighbor after the house has a very sweet yellow lab who came over for dinner one night while my husband and son were making a fire in the fire pit. Overall it was a great experience!
