1920's Updated Cottage Fronting Siletz Bay with Deck, Firepit, BBQ, and Hot Tub
Bayfront Bungalow - Meredith Lodging
You couldn’t ask for a better location than this bay-front cottage, which looks right out at the iconic Three Brothers rocks in Siletz Bay! This updated cottage has a sweet modern vibe, with details including new flooring, a comfortable sofa, and a new TV/DVD/VCR. With a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, two baths, and three bedrooms, Bayfront Bungalow lets you invite friends to stay.
You’ll want to be outside all the time, though, and the large deck, small lawn with Adirondack chairs, fire pit, and hot tub will give you lots of room to lounge and enjoy excellent proximity to the gorgeous bay. You’ll want to walk a half-block to the Taft District, home of Mo’s Seafood and Chowder, several shops and restaurants, a grocery store, a spa, glass-blowing, and a pier for crabbing.
Walk a couple of blocks to the ocean and enjoy watching a resident group of harbor seals resting on the sand and playing in the bay. You’re close to Salishan’s Aerial Park, kayaking, and hiking, and you can clam in season right out of your backyard. All that Lincoln City has to offer is minutes away, and it’s a mere half-hour to Newport’s Historic Bayfront and the Oregon Coast Aquarium.
You’ll relax at the end of your days of exploration watching the sunset over the bay through a flickering fire or the bubbles of your hot tub—and be very glad you found this clever spot for your coastal stay!

Hi Hattie! We are glad you enjoyed the location of our rental. Please consider providing additional details in our survey so we can know how best to improve the quality of your stay. We loved hosting you and hope you will return!
When driving down the dirt street to the house, it looked and is a very dilapidated area. Upon arriving at the house we saw broken blinds and thought oh no. I must say we were plesantly surprised when entering. A gentleman had just finished cleaning the hot tub and he was very pleasant. We ended up not using it but was nice to know we could.I would recommend the older blinds be replaced as some are broken and some do not work properly. We enjoyed our stay and being able to walk my pup on the beach. Its so nice to have pet friendly facilities. Thank you.
Late, 4pm check-in.Great location.Nice house. A set of two bunk beds in one room!Have to walk thru one bedroom to get to the other, or walk outside to the back door.Guess ants are expected. The Hot Tub got hot and that is ok.Thank you for the kindling! Great Stay!Early 10 am check out.Oh, the trash did not get picked up on Thursday.

girls weekend
We rented a house that slept 8, which it does but rooms were small. The dining room sat 6 and the living room sat 5. WE could not sit together. The hot tub was great as well as the view. The house was between two other houses that were not well kept, run down with sketchy people around.

Great location, other things were okay, plenty of space, would stay again
Meredith Lodging never provided us with check-in instructions, nor a code into the house. We didn't have anything to wash our dishes with. No hand towels or wash cloths provided. The beds were very comfortable.
We did not appreciate the large cleaning fee and the checkout instruction stated we had to basically do everything. Why were we instructed to wash the sheets when we paid for a fee? The location was great. The check in and check out times were very inconvenient, and not worth it.
We really enjoyed the accessibility to the ocean. We would stay here again.

This property is not what is shown online. The house is in disrepair, the outdoor area has misc trash everywhere. Spiders and webs inside and out. There is damage everywhere- paint chips, chair ripped, table is cracked. I found 5 hairs in the bed. I had to leave it and rebook elsewhere. They wouldnt offer a full refund which is unfortunate. Do not book here.

Hi Angeline. We are sorry that you were not fully satisfied with your stay. We see that our management team has issued you compensation for your disappointment, as we are always striving to provide our guests with an excellent rental experience. We value your booking, and do hope we have the opportunity to host you again.
So first off it is not how it looks in the pictures. The overall look of the outside of the building is really run down and could be kept up a lot better. The inside was way smaller then the photos make it look. The dryer did not work, the place was not clean for having to pay the fees of them saying they cleaned it. The hot tub was very difficult to lock up as the lock was rusty and half of the hot tub jets didnt work. They did not properly stock the place like they said. There were homeless people all around sleeping by the property. The communication was not good, which it should have been with them knowing they had someone staying there that weekend. The only thing i can say that was good about this was the view from the deck and proximity to the beach..

DRUG HOUSE NEXT DOOR
There is a DRUG HOUSE NEXT DOOR to this property. We know this because after our first full day stay, we had a 6 A M wakeup call by a police SWAT TEAM loudspeaker saying “This is the police. We have a search warrant for this property. Come out with your hands up”. We were startled out of bed and through our window we could see about 20 police officers surrounding the house next door, 10 of the officers were dressed in full combat fatigues, with long guns, battering ram and a large swat van. They broke down the door and made at least two arrests. The operation took about 2.5 hours to complete and we hunkered down in our rental. When the operation was finished, I went out and spoke to 3 officers who told me that this was a drug house. All was quiet until that evening when people were back at this. House and drug addict’s were back in the neighborhood
Merideth Lodging worked well with us and we were very satisfied with their response.

Hi Dennis. We are so sorry you encountered such an unfortunate incident. Although this is not something we can control, we understand this was not the rental experience you had hoped for. Our guest relations team has been in touch with your regarding compensation, and we look forward to hosting you again.
Place was good in size for our family of four. Good location. Awesome view and beach access. Place had lots of spider webs inside and out. Killed several spiders. Window coverings need to be adjusted/fixed.
