Wonderful place to stay
Fantastic place to stay. Everything needed was there. The gift basket, fresh eggs, and fresh flowers were a very nice touch. Loved the antique furniture and decorations. Beds are comfortable. The game room is a nice touch. Would highly recommend staying here.
The property is amazing and so peaceful. The house decor was like a step back in time when life was slower and appreciated. An excellent place to get away from the daily grind and relax.

Has vibe but lagging the modern touch
This place is spot on for location and vibe. However it is not having a modern touch of good bed sizes, furniture indoors and kitchen. The sheets were smelling bad too.

Hi Ganesh, we reviewed your comments with the homeowner, and they wanted to share the following:- The vintage style is an intentional part of the property’s design, and the furniture, kitchen, and bed sizes match what’s shown in the listing photos and description.- Sheets are freshly laundered before each stay, and the homeowner has shared your remarks with the cleaning team to ensure the home meets their standards for future guests. We appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback.

Well stocked and welcoming home
The home was awesome! Very comfortable, nice and clean. Well stocked kitchen, and lots of towels and linens. I especially loved the dock and the water. My son enjoyed the firepit and my daughter loved cooking in the grill. Everything worked. However, The only drawback for me is the water…it is a well water and hard water that feels funny on the skin. Otherwise, if you don’t mind the water, it was a great vacation home. My family really enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Rosalina, Thank you for your kind review and we are pleased that you and your family enjoyed staying at our house. We apologize for the hard water. We found that the water softener was not working properly after your stay and repaired it.

It was so so
Beautiful house. Quiet location. Had bad water- terrible smell when taking showers, im sure it wasn't no fault of the owners but wish it had been mentioned before we stayed. Overall good experience but probably wouldn't recommend based on the shower situation.

Hi Derek, the right vacation home is everything, and we’re glad to hear you enjoyed the quiet location and the beauty of the home. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- The home uses softened well water, which can have a different smell than what some guests may be used to, especially if the water hasn’t been run recently.
- We’ll be checking the water more regularly and have asked our cleaning team to run the showers between guest stays to help prevent any odor buildup.
Thanks for taking the time to leave your review.
The pictures dont do this home justice. It was more than we expected. Spacious, host was very informative, very kind as to leave a welcoming gift for us. Hoping to return in November of this yeae. if available. Loved it.
We were completely blown away by this property and the location. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for a restful and enjoyable stay. It was a house we could come back to at the end of a busy workday and chill out on the dock by the water, watch the sun set and hang out in the house. The beds were very comfortable, and the amenities were amazing. I would highly recommend this property. You'll be amazed and very pleased with it.
My sisters and I loved this property . Especially the dock area. We enjoyed the corn hole set. Ed stopped by to check and make sure all was well. Loved the little treats. Also the way notes explaining where things we might need were displayed! So cute.

Stunning house
Elegantly decorated, superbly equipped house. Truly one of a kind experience. Located right on the water with a really cool dock with a covered area, as in the pics. Game room with a pool table. Each bedroom amazingly decorated. House was stunning. Checkin in was a fiasco. Contacted day before to get info...completely unsatisfied. Could not get the address until day of, and then found myself in a somewhat remote location, at night in the dark with no way into the house. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

Dear Daniel and guests, I am sorry that you felt abandoned in a remote area without sufficient information about the property and could not reach us by telephone. It is a remote area and cell phone service can sometimes be an issue. We are perhaps too reliant on the website for providing the address and key box information and should be more aware of possible quest phone calls on the night of arrival. I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay otherwise. Thank you for letting us know.
