The location is incredible. Not much can beat right there on the coast. The home is a little older than the pictures presented. My biggest issue was that the man gate to the house doens't shut because of shifting. It made me feel a little unsafe the first nights because we had to sleep with open windows since there isn't any air conditioning. For the right person, it would be really easy to get into the home through the man gate, down the sidewalk to the back gate, and right in the house. The area is, however, in a very safe place so I probably shouldn't have been worried. It just feels concerning to be in a new area and "unlocked" all of the time.

Gorgeous ocean stay

The house was lovely and the pool/hot tub overlooking the ocean was truly a treat. The ocean view from the master bedroom was also a favorite place to be. The neighbors were friendly and the setting was quiet and peaceful. The property management was responsive and easy to work with. Definitely a great family vacation place.

Perfect Family Getaway

Perfect getaway location. Amazing views from a great property. Filled with interesting artwork, and comfortable furnishings. Kitchen stocked with every gadget one could need. Pool and spa added to the relaxing space. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Gorgeous ocean view from living area, patio, primary suite! New patio furniture! Well appointed kitchen. Pet-friendly. Location!! Ample quality linens, paper products, soaps, etc. Plenty of storage Just a few steps to beach, tide pools, and delicious Shoals Restaurant. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful sunsets! The website is deceiving. The bedroom with the bunk beds and full size bed is small. Therefore it gets very waarm in that room at night with 4 peole sleeping in a small space. There should be black out shades for the windows in that bedroom as there are street lights shining into that room at night. We had to get cardboard and pillows to try to block the light coming in. The pool is long and narrow. Didn't expect that from the website pictures. Otrherwise the house is bright, cheerful and clean.

We loved our stay here - the views of the ocean are incredible and we really enjoyed waking up to the sound of the waves.The house is very spacious and it was great to have ensuite bathrooms for us all. The house was also well-equipped, including beach towels and beach chairs. There are amazing beaches within easy reach, including the one at Mussel Shoals you can walk to. The house is also not too far from Santa Barbara, Carpinteria and Ojai for days out. We also enjoyed a couple of meals at the Cliff House Inn on the Ocean at short stroll from the house.

Beautiful House

The house is beautiful and super clean had everything we needed, the manager also brought an iron literally couple hour after we asked for it. Would highly recommend for families. Keep in mind after 9pm the neighbors don’t want any noise or loud music.

Incredible

We frequently stay in Mussel Shoals, but this was our first time at this particular home. It was stunning and perfect in every way. Our kids stayed 4 houses down the street, our parents stayed in Montecito and our best friends stayed at the Cliff House Inn making for a marvelous weekend….Beautiful weather, a great surf, easy living and love in the air. So conveniently located near great shopping and delicious restaurants plus not too far from the airport. Couldn’t have asked for more!
