This was a very clean house with lots of amenities. It could have used a little more stocking of cleaning items. There's a great playground at the school just two blocks away and the Fred Meyers is only half a mile and a nice walk through the neighborhood.

Noisy neighbors!
The house was clean but the path leading up to the house was not shoveled or maintained in any way making it difficult to walk up to the door. There was no light outside the entry door making it difficult to see to use the keypad on the lock to get in. There was no light at the top of the stairs to the bedrooms and the step configuration was awkward and dangerous. The neighbors played loud video games between midnight and 4am that woke us up most nights and didn't stop until we banged on the wall. I called the contact person but he said there was nothing he could do about it. We tried to talk to the neighbors but they wouldn't answer the door. All in all it was a poor stay and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Response from VrboOwner on 21 January 2026
We’re glad to hear the home was clean upon arrival, but we’re sorry the rest of your stay didn’t meet expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reviewing your feedback, and they shared the following:
- Snow had fallen the night before your arrival, and while the removal team had already started clearing the area, the homeowner reached out again to prioritize access to the entryway as quickly as possible.
- The entry and upstairs lights may have had burnt-out bulbs or were accidentally turned off by a previous guest. A handyman has been scheduled to inspect and resolve both for improved safety and visibility.
- The homeowner has reminded neighboring tenants about quiet hours between 10:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. and asked their management team to forward any future guest concerns directly to them so they can respond quickly and help ensure a more comfortable stay.
Thanks again for your feedback. It's being taken seriously to help create better experiences for future guests.

Walkway
The only problem we had was the walkway to the house from the road needed to be shoveled or plowed. We could have done it ourself but, we couldn’t find a shovel for us to use.
The trash cans in the kitchen were full and so were the city garbage containers. We just wanted note that.

Everything you need and a good location
The only problem we had was the first day. The unit was way too hot, but Mike came over, assessed the situation, changed the batteries in the thermostat, and all was well. The appliances were new, the kitchen well stocked, the furniture and beds were comfotable, and the elctronics provided a chance to work remotely as well as a good TV entertainment selection. All in all, we felt very much at home.
Property sidewalks leading from the street parking to the corner of the house were iced over and not shoved and were a safety hazard. Property not suitable for seniors because of banister on the stairs to the bedrooms. There were two days without hot water. Other than that it served our purpose.
