Enjoy your morning cuppa tea or coffee in the conservatory with views of Mt Tauhara and the Great Lake Taupo in the distance. The fully fenced private back yard is a perfect outdoor play area for children and also doubles as the entertainers delight with Weber BBQ, fire-pit and outdoor furniture.

Keep warm and cozy in the winter months and comfortably cool in the summer with a heat pump/ air conditioning unit in the main living area and electric panel heaters and fans in both bedrooms.

There is plenty to keep everyone entertained with Sky TV provided and if you'd like to stretch the legs and get some fresh air - Besley park is just 10-minute walk away where you'll find a pirate themed playground, tennis courts, community hall and recreation reserve. Bring your own sports equipment or make the most of the tennis racquets provided. Acacia Bay's ever popular swimming spot is only a 3-minute (1.5km) drive away, or bring the boat and launch it at Acacia Bay South Boat ramp, only a 4-minute drive away.

The Kinder Cottage is a handy location to the Acacia Bay shopping centre where you'll find a convenience store, garden centre and the Bay Bar and Brasserie which only a 2-minute walk away. Taupo's town centre is 6-minute drive where you will be close to all of the best restaurants, cafe's, shops and attractions that Taupo has to offer.

Parking - 2 x off street parking + on street parking. Sorry the garage is not for guest use.

Kinder Cottage is a popular location for groups of up to 4 guests.

Linen included – we are a holiday home management company who uses professionally laundered linen & towels.
