"We always want our guests to feel comfortable and well taken care of. We followed up with the homeowner after reading Rebecca’s feedback, and they wanted to share the following:-We are sorry to hear that the hot tub temperature was not to your preference during your stay.-For the comfort of our future guests, we want to mention that the hot tub is equipped with user-friendly controls to increase the heat to a higher setting.-We always encourage our guests to reach out to us during their stay if they have any questions about the amenities so we can help right away.-We appreciate your feedback and hope you were otherwise able to enjoy your time at the property.Thank you for taking the time to leave your review."
The house was spacious and great for accommodating a larger group. The owner was great to work with and was very responsive. The house did have a few shortcomings such as doors sticking, laundry in the garage, and being short on stocked items (garbage bags, dishwasher soap, and toilet paper).Overall, it suited our needs and was a good value for the price.
Do not rent this property. This is a home that someone has purchased and maybe intended on making it into a nice rental - - - but never did the cleaning and repairs. The yard had not been tended to for weeks/months - - weeds knee high everywhere. The hot tub was half full of brown water. The back patio was littered with food, trash and beer cans. Downstairs there was mold in the shower - - a hole in the wall in the bedroom. The garage was 1/2 full of trash and old washers and dryers. I could go on and on - - - it was hard for us to believe what we were experiencing. I contacted the host several times and he kept apologizing and saying he would send someone to the house immediately. On the second day, a young man in street clothes showed up via an uber - - with a garden scissors and spent 3 hours on his hands and knees trying to clean up the back yard. He filled 6 trash bags and one wheelbarrow with weeds and trash. We never saw the host even though he kept promising that he was on his way to mow the yard and fix other problems. He told me that he would refund me the cost of one day - - which he has not done.

Thanksgiving
Lots of room to spread out. Game room downstairs was fun.
Big house, good location but not in the best shape
The online pics showed two more beds than were actually there, which was an issue for us as we were counting on those beds. It was reasonably clean and comfortable but things were a bit old and some things were broken (e.g. coffee pot handle). They were very responsive and reimbursed us for the Aerobed we bought to make up for the missing bed.

Big house with potential
The house is large with lots of space but needs some work. The beds & bedding are horrible. The house smelled bad. Couldn’t even go into the basement due to the moldy smell. We did enjoy main floor. Neighborhood is nice.

Hi Connie, we're very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at this home. We have shared your comments with the homeowner, so we can work together to make the stay better for the next guests. Thank you for letting us know.
Broken coffee pot, tv in living room would never connect, mirror feel off the wall. I commend the vision and effort but …not quite ready.Stairs need handrails, safety issue.

Justin never responded on the back up toilet issue. Now today while running late leaving out he found time say he’ll charge.

Hi Lisa & Jason, we want our guests to have an exceptional experience from start to finish, so we’re sorry to hear there was some confusion around your stay. After receiving your feedback, the homeowner would like to share the following:- We didn’t receive a direct message about the toilet issue, but when Evolve received your note, they followed up with us to make us aware of the situation. We followed up and checked the toilet, and it appeared to be flushing, so it didn’t seem to require immediate attention.- As for the checkout timing, our policy is to check out by 10 a.m. so our cleaning team can prepare the home for the next guest. Delays past this time can impact their schedule, and late checkouts may incur additional fees, especially if additional cleaning or repairs are needed. For clarification, this is not passed on to the guest. Thank you for sharing your experience so we can keep improving our communication and guest support. Thanks for letting us know about your stay!

Be warned
I read previous reviews and still rented because if location. Took a chance and was underwhelmed. The two bedrooms with a king and single only had one bed. Property could be great, but like previous reviews, its outdated and in need of repair and a little TLC. Otherwise the overall stay was ok. Garage couldn't hold two vehicles.it waz half filled with trash and furniture.
disappointed I could not speak with someone when I tried to call and left multiple messages. Old bed left on the side of the house, the garage was supposed to hold to cars could not because of all the junk in there. The carpet needed to be cleaned or taken out. The soap dispensers was filled with water. The sheets in the baby crib was not clean. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. Hot tub needed to be cleaned

To begin, lets talk positives. If you are looking for a place in the heart of Aurora, Co this is located in the right spot. Everything you need is close by and the home is in an cul-de-sac. Quiet neighborhood. The house upon arrival is spacious!! It has 2 living rooms and 2 dining areas, which is great for large families. Large fenced in yard. With that being said, there were zero extra toliet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tabs, or garbage bags. It is suggested that you start laundry, but there is zero laundry soap. Also, the washer and dryer are in the garage. It snowed while we were there and there wasn't a shovel or anything to lay on the step or driveway for ice. Very dangerous conditions. Glad none of my elderly aunts decided to stray with us. In the master bedroom, looking up there are dust balls in the ceiling. The bedroom doors stick, the rugs are folding up and a safety hazard. and the shampoo and conditioner were totally out in the bathrooms. The hot tube is a great feature and we really enjoyed it-the first time. Then the hot tub wouldn't heat up past 88. Not sure if we didn't put the cover on correctly or not and that's why. But that was a major bummer. It suggests that you add things to the hot tub but no directions on where those things are. All in all, its a decent place to lay your head and the kitchen is nice (beware of the drawer next to the fridge, its broken and falls in). It defiantly has it's "quarks" and is located where we needed it to be.

Half Done and Dirty
Place was large enough to fit our group of 10+. Unfortunately the amenities were not complete. It felt like any positive the place had was weighed down by the lack of quality put into the work. For example, there was enough room for our group, BUT all the beds were hard or broken down. The mattresses were straight out of boot camp and a few had sunken in somehow. The home was definitely getting up there in years and could use some updates. Feel like the only update in the house was the master bathroom. The basement was a hazard for sure though. It looked like the basement area was meant for kids, so they probably wouldn't have complained about the shoddiness. The drywall looked to be done by an amateur and the doors were dingy at best. The latches were definitely strange but I guess it was just the nature of the layout down there. There were also mouse droppings behind a lot of the furniture down there. Not a place I would want my kid hanging out. Outside of the basement, the upstairs had a mildew smell to it, maybe some water damage or something. Overall, not worth the money that we paid for a week. Ended up cancelling and going with another rental for obvious cleanliness reasons.

Worn property with poorly done renovations. Several rugs on top of carpets caused many trips. Carpet is stained. Air conditioning doesn’t cool the 2nd floor. Some electrical outlets don’t work. Air hockey and foos ball tables in “game room” are broken. Dryer is broken although 2nd dryer in garage works if you know it’s there. Only 1 or 2 washcloths. Had to buy some from Walmart. Backyard is overgrown and a hodgepodge.
