Everything was spot on on this rental- clean house, exactly as advertised, easy communication with host, and a beautiful location a quick walk into town for all that it had to offer!
This is such a lovely rental. We really enjoyed our stay. It is clean and comfortable and has so much space. We also really appreciated the milk, bread and snacks left for us (we arrived late and having milk for morning tea/coffee was a huge plus). It is within walking distance of shops and restaurants, but just far enough away to not be in the middle of the noise and crowds of the tourist area (nice to not have to drive into town for dinner as parking is at a premium in Portree). I can't say enough good things about the rental and will definitely stay again when on Skye.
We stayed 2 nights and the accommodations were wonderful for a family of 6 people. Enough space for everyone. Loved the kitchen and dining room area for breakfast in the morning. Very easy walk into town and restaurants. Host was super helpful and communicated clearly. Thank you!
Great property. Convenient location. It would be wonderful if a clothes dryer could be added. We washed clothes and had to air dry. We were lucky enough to have sunny weather and were able to use the clothes hanger outside. Although, this would be a great addition to the property, we were aware of the lack of a dryer due to the accuracy of the listing. I do recommend this property.
Excellent location from which to explore Skye. A short walk to eateries and Co-op for essentials. Home is well presented and neat as a pin.Communication with hosts was spot on. Really enjoyed our stay.
Wonderful location, great view, all the amenities we needed. So nice to be a short walk to the restaurants and shops. We had several choices, even without reservations.
Portree is such a wonderful town and this house was steps away from everything with a great view of the harbor. We only got to stay 2 nights due to our itinerary but would have loved staying there for a week or more!Hope to come back one day.
We loved our stay at this lcottage in Portree. It felt very cozy and was nicely decorated. We had a night in when it was pouring rain outside; and took advantage of the common rooms, cooking in the well stocked kitchen, eating dinner at the dinning table, and playing games in the living room.

We had a wonderful stay in Portree! The home was clean and comfortable and in a perfect location to walk into town and to travel around the Isle. Hope to return some day!
Lots of room for a family group. Wonderful location—easy walking distance to grocery, shops & restaurants. A well appointed rental—much info about the local area & things to do. Great kitchen. We would love to stay here again!
Easy to find. Lots of room, everything we needed was there, plus a few extras! Quiet, clean and comfortable - really enjoyed our stay. Excellent location to do the Trottenish Loop or explore the rest of Skye. Short walk from downtown restaurants.

Thank you fir staying. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us.
This was the second stop on our big Scotland road trip and we fell in love with Portree and this property. It has such a homey, welcoming vibe, the rooms and kitchen are perfectly appointed and the owner was a dream to work with. I will come back to Skye but only if this home is available!

Why they chose this property
This property is located in central Portree with a Sea View in the quieter Staffin Road area of Portree-the start of the Trotternish Tourist Route . Having said that you are only minutes walk away from the bars restaurants and sites of Portree and its beautifyl harbour.
What makes this property unique
Relaxing Atmosphere, Great Views, proximity to facilities and tour routes. Our house is modern but with a traditional Scots feel.
