Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine. Heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Enclosed garden with decked area and garden furniture. Balcony. 17-acre grounds with direct beach access (shared with other properties on-site). Allocated parking for 1 car, 100 yards away. No smoking.. Porth View is a modern, reverse level terrace house set in the grounds of the former Glendorgal Hotel. The property makes the most of its elevated position with stunning views across Porth Beach and out to sea.

Internally, the property offers a light and airy open plan living, kitchen and dining area which is furnished to a high standard throughout. The living area also gives access to a balcony offering sea views. Bedroom One has patio doors leading to an enclosed garden with a furnished decked area, ideal for al fresco dining.

The Glendorgal Estate is set on a 17 acre private and gated headland. From the grounds there is direct access to the beach and out onto a network of spectacular coastal walks. Porth Beach is a secluded, sandy beach and is ideal for families as the beach is considered by many to be one of the safest in Cornwall for swimming.

The more adventurous may wish to visit Lusty Glaze Beach with its adventure centre featuring surfing, coasteering and kitesurfing. There is also a restaurant and beach barbecue available to feed hungry mouths after an adrenaline filled day.

The surfing hotspot, Fistral Beach is a short drive away, boasting some of the finest surfing conditions in the UK. Newquay town centre is within easy reach and here you will find a bustling town bursting with shops, cafés and restaurants.

We had a wonderful time here - the property had everything we needed and the quiet location was wonderful. Listening to the sea and birds each day was very calming. The beach is easy to walk to from the property and Newquay town is only a couple of minutes away. We'll be sure to visit here again.

Gym availability was not operational as hotel had long closed. However the house was lovely in itself and useful location near to beach and the town if required. A nice property, unfortunately the weather wasn't good, we were there through Storm Alex. We're not young, in our 70s and hanging on to each other with a strong wind wasn't our best time. Having said that we made it to Porth Beach once and took the dog, he loved it. Probably for us we wouldn't go again only because of our ages. Kevin (management) was helpful when I asked him a question which is always good when you can get a reply to a query. All in all a pleasant stay but not for us again. We loved the apartment, and were very happy there.

We loved the apartment, and were very happy there. Our only Complaint was that the bathrooms smelt horrible. As soon as you walked in, there was a smell or sewage in the whole apartment, which we realised straight away was from the bathroom attached to the double room. We aired it out and flushed the toilets / ran the shower multiple Times and kept windows open which helped, but every time we came back, we noticed the smell on arrival. Besides that, the place was very clean, comfortable, and had a great balcony. The garden is very small (much smaller than photos suggest) , but this was not a problem. The location is incredible, and we had views of the sunrise over porth beach from Our balcony, which was beautiful. I would certainly come back again .. if something was done about the smell. Fabulous views.

Fabulous views. Access to porth beach at low tide via steps. Very comfortable warm and welcoming apartment with balcony and own little garden which is great if you want to take dogs. Great walk to watergate bay and across porth beach. Apartment very well equipped and nicely done - clean and modern bathrooms and bedrooms. Will definitely return ! 😀

Beautiful house and location. Small gestures thoughtful and appreciated included fairy liquid, cloths surfing boards, deck chairs. Small negatives - pet hair all over sofa and everywhere, bathroom bin bit emptied.
