We loved this location. We walked to the Accademia, the Duomo and all over Florence. We found wonderful restaurants and gelato places close by. The beds were not as comfortable as in America, but I will say we slept like babies after all of the walking!
Location is excellent and easy to walk to the train station. The apartment was very basic with extremely tiny kitchen and bathroom. For a few day trip this was certainly fine. Check in was straight forward
This apartment was perfect fit for me, my wife and son. It’s centrally located in the city, so we didn’t have to walk far to see all the wonders of Florence. Communication with the staff was prompt and courteous. Highly recommend.
Closely located to many amenities and an easy walk to many of the main attractions. The apartment was lovely and well supplied, and the hosts were very informative and made check in smooth and easy.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the property. Loved that is was close to everything including the Central Market which is phenomenal. The person checking us in went above and beyond to give us info.
Loved our stay, literally steps from Trattoria ZaZa and Mercato Centrale! Few minutes to the Duomo and museums and longer but do-able walk to all the shopping and restaurants over the river. Very comfortable and quiet but just know that it is a few flights of stairs up so not for people with limited mobility. Will definitely stay again when in Florence!

In need of a makeover
The property is in need of a makeover as everything is a little tired. The overall low rating reflects the dirty and stained china which could be so easily and inexpensively put right but obviously no one can be bothered.
This apartment was in such a central location, it was perfect for our family. It is about a 10 minute walk to the train station, that was also a plus as we had our carry-on baggage.

Not as it looks online
We expected some stairs and then the room. We took a lift and traveled down the hall to the room and interior steps (more than is shown in the picture). The second room was another flight of stairs and railing stopped halfway.Bathroom layout was nightmarish-the shower was minuscule and hot water ran out. To close the door when you wanted privacy , you got in and stepped aside.Rooms were much smaller, but serviceable.Internet was intermittent at best.
No extras in this small apartment.- not even coffee or tea. The key to the building was not cut well. We struggled to open the door each time we returned after touring for the day. Sometimes we wondered if it was going to work at all. We did not use the kitchen facilities at all, so can’t comment on them, but there appeared to be the basics for dishes etc. There are a lot of stairs and the elevator was out of order. Within the apartment, there are numerous stairs. If you have a mobility issue, this would likely be problematic. The bathroom is very small. The shower is tiny, dropping the soap would be an issue to pick it up without stopping the water and opening the doors. So this would not be a good choice if you were of larger size. It was indeed in a great spot and did have air conditioning. When we arrived we found the window in the bath had been left open which resulted in numerous mosquitos buzzing around our heads the first night…sofa could do with a cleaning . We had good internet service. Beds were comfortable.
This apartment is in a great location, easy walking distance to all attractions. The location is quiet. The only downfall is that the apartment is smaller than the pictures appear, but isn't that all of Europe? We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
The location of this apartment could not have better! It truly is only 5-10 minutes (depending on how fast one walks) to the Duomo and RR station. We spent two weeks in this apartment and were very comfortable. The property manager was very quick to respond to questions and requests. We recommend it highly.
Close to every thing and walkable to almost all the attractions. This is really warm, cozy and rustic apartment in the historic quarters of Florence. Loved everything about the place.
We came for 3 days and the property was very central for the Cathedral and food market which had great food and wines. Property suited our needs in a traditional style with easy access by lift but stairs into apartment. All bedding was plentiful clean and warm. Bathroom was a little tight but we all managed, plenty of hot water for showers. Wi-Fi worked and kitchen covered what we needed for our short stay.
