The Brew House is ideal for a couple with its large dual aspect bedroom which can be used as a double or a twin room with its en-suite bathroom. This room can be rearranged as a family room with a further single bed or alternatively a sofa bed can be made up for an extra guest in the living area.
The open plan ground floor with a small wood burning stove provides an easy space to cook, eat and relax.
Set on the lower slopes of the Quantocks along narrow winding lanes but only 10 minutes from Junction 24 of the M5, the Brew House at Sherwood is a great place to relax but also makes a wonderful base from which to explore the whole of Somerset and some of the attractions of the surrounding counties. The four very individual cottages the Brew House, the Potting Shed, the Wine Cellar and the Hen House at Sherwood provide pleasantly quirky accommodation for couples and small families to enjoy on an individual basis but also form an ideal group for larger families and friends to enjoy each others' company while providing the space and privacy people need to really relax. Between them the cottages can easily accommodate 12 people and beds for groups of 16-18 can be arranged subject to agreement with the owners. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
The cottages have been converted from old out-buildings at Sherwood and are set in about five acres of a rather overgrown woodland garden, which is surrounded by fields and backs on to a valley of mature forestry commission woodland. Each cottage is available for short breaks or longer self-catering stays.
