Great little property with everything we needed. The property managers were helpful and great communicators. Very nice neighborhood close to everything we wanted to do.
This is our second time staying here with our grandsons for our Christmas getaway. The kids go to the Snowbowl while we just hang back at the cabin and cook. We'll be back!
This cabin was perfect for our getaway. Our dogs & kids loved the fenced in yard. Jim was easy to get a hold of and so hospitable. We had a great weekend!
It is a beautiful property and very well located. Only 10 minutes from Flagstaff, half an hour from Williams and "Bearizona", and 1 hour and a half from the Grand Canyon. We enjoyed them all. The game room was fantastic! Evenings in the chalet playing pool, ping pong, and foosball made it a terrific family outing. Thank you very much, Jim and VRBO.
The house was perfect for a snowy weekend. The kids loved the game room and it was a perfect cozy spot during the winter storm.
We hope to come back next year!

THANK YO
We had a fun filled family stay with 8 of us and plenty of room to move around in. Had about a foot of snow which for us Phoenixites was a rare treat. It was beautiful!
Unique property with a great hot tub. It was quiet and secluded. There were a lot of spider webs inside the house, but it was otherwise very tidy. The heated floors in the bathroom and game room were amazing! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.
The home was in great shape and clean all the rooms were very warm and the fireplace gave a great home like warmed. We enjoyed playing pool and foosball in the game room. Getting into a hot jacuzzi in the middle of winter was an awesome experience. We hope to do this again next year.

I really enjoyed my stay. Chris and Jim were both so kind and accommodating. They were really nice to work with. The only feed back I have is that we would have really liked to have had access to the garage and long driveway it was hard to fit two trucks and two trailers comfortably in the space the guests are allowed to use.
Response from VrboOwner on 27 March 2020
We wish we had known there were going to be 2 trucks and 2 trailers in our driveway. With advance notice we could have arranged use of more parking space. If there are any issues while you are at the chalet, please contact us immediately, while we can still do something about it.
This is an interesting older property with a lot of potential, but our stay was impacted by cleanliness and deferred maintenance issues. The home was generally clean at a surface level, but there was quite a bit of dust and there were cobwebs throughout the house. Spiders were also an issue during our week-long stay. We killed several inside the home, and on multiple mornings I walked into newly formed webs. If you are particularly uncomfortable with spiders, this may be something to consider depending on the time of year. There were also maintenance concerns. The showerhead was held together with tape, and one A/C unit leaked enough water into the downstairs closet that water pooled on the floor, making the closet unusable. I reported this to the owner, who acknowledged the issue, but it was not addressed during our stay. The exterior also had significantly overgrown weeds. The loft did not work well as a bedroom. It was hot and lacked privacy, with a mattress on the floor, loose/uninstalled carpet, and awkward access via an older, creaky ladder. On the positive side, the other beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the location is convenient to the freeway without noticeable road noise inside. Overall, our stay was okay, but the property could be much nicer with some additional attention. It wouldn't take a major renovation—more thorough cleaning and addressing some of the deferred maintenance, both inside and outside, would go a long way.
The chalet is a very uniquely designed home with a spacious floor plan and nice furnishings.. It features a large dining table, wood burning fireplace, large skylights, wood & tile floors, a well-equipped kitchen, great appliances, and a large game room. It has a large fenced back yard with tall pines and is in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood for being close to I-17. We enjoyed relaxing and having breakfast on the large front porch. There is a nice big bedroom on the main floor and more rooms upstairs. [FYI: not handicap friendly -- there are stairs, several levels and a sunken, step down remodeled/gorgeous shower.] Our host was great and we really enjoyed our stay!
We’ve stayed at the chalet many many times over the years but we moved away during Covid and once we were back on the West Coast it was the first place we wanted to visit. The moment we walked in our entire family made the comment how it smelled the same, which is a good thing, it literally feels like a second home to our family! We love the game room, jacuzzi, fireplace and just the feel of decompressing from our busy lives to be in a peaceful and cozy environment. We always leave refreshed and looking forward to our next trip! A huge thanks to the owners for communicating about weather, the house and also being receptive whenever we’ve ever had an issue or notified them of a problem, y’all are the best!!
