Lovely quiet location

The photos don't do it justice. Lots of character. Lovely outside space. Great views. Four poster bed! We extended our stay but the system sees it as 2 bookings.

a corner of paradise

The village is lovely and relaxing, but the house is even better. A detached stone house, on two floors plus a roof terrace and surrounded by a garden hidden from the view of passers-by. A house equipped with everything you need and with an extraordinary charm. I recommend it to anyone who does not want to experience the chaos of Girne and its surroundings.

Romantisches, ursprüngliches Natursteinhaus in Karmi

Ein sehr romantischer Aufenthalt, bei dem es an nichts fehlte. Selbst die Küche war überkomplett ausgestattet. Die Terrasse, sowie die Dachterrasse, schenkten uns viele angenehme und romantische Stunden. Der Blick in die Ferne ist atemberaubend. Einziges Manko ist die in das Untergeschoss führende Treppe ins Bad. Diese ist sehr steil und mit kurzen Trittstufen. Für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung oder körperlichen Problemen ist diese nicht ungefährlich. Ansonsten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Sehr freundliche Vermieter, welche nicht auf dem Grundstück wohnen. Liudmila & André

Charming Karmi

Die Unterkunft in Karmi ist ein wunderschönes altes Haus im Dorf Karmi , mit einer großen Terrasse mit tollem Blick. Magdalena hat uns persönlich empfangen und war beim Auto mieten sehr hilfreich. Sie war immer schnell erreichbar. Das Dorf ist ein Refugium für Katzen, die es selbstverständlich finden, jeden neuen Gast im Garten und Haus zu besuchen, leider konnten wir daher keine Türen offenstehen lassen, ohne nicht gleich eine Katze im Haus zu haben. Eine Fliegengittertür wäre hier sehr hilfreich. In der Küche gibt es ausreichend Geschirr, unsere möglichen Vormieter hatten allerdings wenig sauberes Geschirr hinterlassen.. Die Elektrik im Haus ist besonders, als wir dort waren, funktionierte das warme Wasser nicht, obwohl zwischenzeitlich ein Elektriker dagewesen sein sollte. Die Treppe im Haus , die zum Bad und zu einem Schlafzimmer führt, ist steil hat sehr schmale Stufen. Im Dorf gibt es z.Zt mehrere Einkehrmöglichkeiten, Wanderungen von dort aus sind ebenfalls möglich. Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto.

A great hideaway

Really loved the character of the place, even if the electrics were a little eccentric. We had three to five unexpected guests arrive each morning. Karmi is a dumping ground for stray cats who are then cared for by the village, so expect feline visitors to show up at your door. My one suggestion for improvement would be the lighting in the main living room/dining room area as it's pretty dingey.

Lovely authentic quaint peaceful village cottage

Cottage is authentic cypriot set in peaceful surroundings. Host is very helpful. Would definitely recommend.
