We had a wonderful stay (despite Storm Babet). Lovely clean and spacious property with everything you need. Nicely located for trips to towns and tourist attractions by car. Would definitely recommend.
A beautifully furnished cottage, immaculately clean, and well equipped. Very quiet location, amongst several other attractive stone farm building conversions, on the edge of the small village of Pikehall. Convenient for many places of interest, such as Cromford Mills, Buxton and Chatsworth.

Visiting Derbyshire
The Standard throughout the property is very high and the fact that it was all on one level was great for the one of our party with serious disabilities.
Access to both the Peaks and the Dales, Chatsworth etc was easy as our holiday was touring rather than walking. We will certainly recommend the properties.

Thankyou for your review.
Delighted that you enjoyed your stay.
We do try to present the properties to the highest of standard.
We would welcome you and your family for another stay in
the future
The cottage is beautifully furnished and equipped, and, having thick stone walls, remained wonderfully cool during the four hot days we were there. Its location amongst gently undulating hills is lovely, and very convenient for tourist attractions in Cromford, Matlock etc. We were given a very generous welcome pack, including tasty cheeses from nearby Hartington. Our second visit, and would definitely go back there again.
We had a great time at Trail View. The property was just as described, and was spotless on arrival. With a large twin bedroom along with another large double room it was perfect for two adults and two children, with enough outdoor space for them to exercise themselves whilst being watched by the neighbouring cows! Trail View's location is pretty central for most of the Peak District, and we were within 25 minutes of much of what we wanted to do, with some excellent pubs within a 10 minute drive for family friendly meals out.

A lovely cottage
This was a great cottage to stay in. It was really clean and well equipped. It was like it was all new. We have stayed in a few cottages in the Peak District and this was our favourite. The kitchen is really nice and spacious and the lounge is very cosy. The bathrooms are clean and modern. We particularly liked the location of the cottage with the High Peak Trail running behind it on the horizon, it was nice to have a cup of tea and watch the cyclists go past in the distance. We would definitely recommend it and like to return.
No exaggeration, I would give 6 stars if it would be available. Judith is excellent as host, she was always prompt at replies, very helpful with logistics and advices about area. Everything at home was prepared in detail, gift basket with chocolate easter eggs, biscuits, log burner ready to fire with kindling and newspapers, oven tray ready with foil, so many things thought in detail we stayed in many short rental homes, this is the best ever hospitality we experienced .Location was also perfect for us , it is on High Peak Bike Trail with a lot of instruction material available at home to pick the routes for biking. We so much enjoyed staying 3 nights. Thank you so much Judith.
This cottage is very well equipped, really comfortable in every aspect, was beautifully clean and in an amazing spot to explore. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will hopefully return some day. A big thank you for a very wonderful stay.
Absolutely perfect. So clean it could have been new, handled a mains water problem very well, well organised and stocked accommodation, briefing notes were without par including local walks, always responded promptly
Spacious, well-modernised property; well-equipped; good library of information about the area; everything arranged as Guests would wish.

Amazing, loved everything and every minute there
Perfect location and property for us and our young son. The private patio and garden out back was brilliant and the views of the trail wonderful and relaxing. We didn't use the car one day as the direct access to the trail meant we could enjoy the area without the need to drive anywhere. Our son spent hours playing outside and watching the cows in the field. We had a lovely welcome from the owner and a couple of lovely chats during our stay too. We'll definitely be back as soon as we can!!

Very comfortable, well presented, well decorated converted barn in quiet location. Well equipped and has an outside space for barbecues with great views of surrounding countryside. Lots of walks nearby as well as easy access to local villages and towns of Bakewell and Ashbourne. Good pubs a short drive away and locals were so friendly and helpful.

Beautiful accommodation in a good location.
First impressions were, it looked exactly like the photos online. The cottage looks to be a converted stable block and is spacious and comfortable. The cottage was extremely clean, beautifully furnished and well equipped. Plenty of storage space for your clothes, wardrobes with loads of hangers and draw space. On arrival we were met by the owner, Judith who had noticed us driving around earlier and had gone to the cottage to put the heating on (we'd arrived a little earlier than arrival time stipulated). A the bottle of wine, Easter eggs for the kids and fresh flowers greeted us, which were much appreciated. We also found a pint of milk and tea and coffee making facilities to hand, which was great after a long journey, before unpacking the car. The kitchen equipment, cooker, dishwasher, hob, microwave etc were all high spec and easy to use. The location is fairly isolated and very quiet but right on top of the high peak trail. Having said that you are only a short car ride away from the surrounding villages and it's a great central location. Marvellous. Throughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful part of the country.
