Kona Cliff House at Pebble Beach is a romantic getaway & perfect for all things ocean! Spectacular coastal views from every room in this remodeled beach house. with a custom gourmet kitchen.

Location absolutely does make a difference! Many claim 180 degree views yet few are like the Kona Cliff House located in Kona Paradise Community in South Kona, Captain Cook.

Our home is away from the crowds, is a coveted area for divers, snorkelers, paddlers and kayakers! Watch dolphins and whales right from the lanai. 37 miles/ 1 hour from Airport.

You will truly enjoy the 180-degree ocean views, ancient walls of the King's trail and watching the whales and dolphins from the home’s expansive Lanai. Pebble beach a few blocks below the house.

This quiet ocean community is away from the tourist crowds and is a very central location to some of the most visited attractions on the Big Island. Near mile marker 97 in Captain Cook, it is 25 miles from Kona Alli Drive, a few miles from Place of Refuge, Captain Cook Monument Bay, and Honaunau 2 step Beach and only 50 miles to Volcano National Park.

The entire Kona Cliff House at Pebble Beach will be yours to enjoy. It attracts athletic types who enjoy its secure gated location, fully fenced yard and up 4 flights of stairs (70 steps) to a terraced garden of Plumeria and Palm Trees, Jade plants, Orchids and Hibiscus flowers to an ocean experience one never forgets! We are happy to share it with our guests. It's a lovely stairway to heaven up to the house.

The cliff house was the highlight of our trip. We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of Kona and cliff house was exactly that. A beautiful retreat with solitude and plenty of recreation nearby.

Beautiful inside and out

We stayed at Kona Cliff House for five days, a perfect getaway after the chaos of Waikīkī. The house is beautifully furnished and maintained and the view from the lanai is stunning. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything we needed to cook all of our dinners. Climbing the stairs to the house is a workout and the roads are steep, but the house itself is perfect.

Peaceful and quiet with an amazing view and gorgeous sunsets. Lovely home with lots of amenities, a beautiful well-equipped kitchen, super comfy bed, and a cool outdoor shower. Was a workout climbing several flights of stairs from the carport to the house but worth it for the great view. Loved hearing the waves crashing on the beach below and watching whales from the lanai. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful House!

We enjoyed are stay at the Kona Cliff House. The house was clean and very well maintained. Beautiful view of the ocean and we enjoyed the sunsets at night. Our only recommendation is to rent a Jeep for touring the island. we would definitely return to this house. We loved the adventures of the island and to relax at the house afterwards. A steep drive down with many switchbacks, but you get used to it! Quiet with a beautiful view that makes the property truly charming. The dining options nearby are not great, so plan on grabbing some nice steaks or fish and doing your own cooking, but that just makes this getaway special. Get it for the two of you and enjoy each other's company (and the view) and just relax!

Delightful & Comfortable House

Keith & Kelly’s Cliff House, Hale Pali was a comfy spacious home for our 12 day Big Island vacation. The beautiful sunsets from the large lani, the well appointed spotless kitchen and bbq, washer & dryer, walk in closet, open comfortable living room and dining area and bar style counter all made for a home away from home. Kelly was super available and communicative. This is a gem. Thanks guys for a great place!

We were greeted by whales in the bay with 180 degree view of ocean. Kitchen was beautiful and updated. Bed was comfortable. Relaxing on lanai while watching the ocean was magical. Directions had for a spare key but after communicating with Kelly this was quickly sorted out. ❤️❤️😍

Beautiful, up to date, and relaxing home in Kona Paradise

Keith and Kelly have done a great job with their home. Everything is meticulous and up todate. Their attention to detail is amazing. As a health care professional, it is very important for me that everything is just perfect, this place is such. The kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen amenities, and the home is located on the sea level where it is nice and cool. Private Pebble beach is just a couple blocks down the ocean. The view is stunning. This place is very priovate. The sun set is beautiful. My wife loves to sit on the hammock and view the open ocean that streches as far as the eye can see.

Quiet spot to relax and enjoy the Big Island

This home with a stunning view is great for a quiet, relaxing trip. We found everything was as advertised, from the 75 steps up to the house to the beach amenities provided. The location is a good distance from grocery stores and restaurants so stock up on food (no need for bottled water, the filtered water tastes great). The kitchen was really well stocked and there were plenty of helpful conveniences, from reusable grocery bags and a cooler to water bottles and trash bags. Fans made the temperature comfortable, and the shades darken the bedroom so you can sleep in. The lanai has a dining table, comfy chairs, a hammock and a nice Weber grill. Behind the house at ground level is a private outside shower and access to laundry. Pebbles Beach is just down the hill (but it is steep so you may want to drive), and from there you can walk to a quiet black sand beach. We saw spinner dolphins from the lanai in June. Be on the look for mosquitos when sitting outside. The location seemed to be sheltered from some of the clouds and rain that pass over the island. We appreciated the thoughtfulness of the hosts in providing everything we needed to enjoy our visit

Absolutely Perf

We have used Home Away/VRBO throughout the US and Europe for 15 years or so. Almost always with kiddos afoot. Our trip to Hawai’i Island for my husband and I was cancelled twice due to unforeseen events. But it was worth the wait. The first 5 days on Hawai’i Island was spent at this incredible property. We fell in love with this area south Kona…this property….and this neighborhood. It fit us perfectly. A few recommendations that are not the usual in tour books - plan a day when you do not leave the neighborhood. Take advantage of your immediate surroundings, including Pebbles beach, a hidden black sands beach, the lanai, paradise :) - back into the carport. The close neighbor will appreciate it. - Always have dinner at the house! It’s the best freakin’ view for dinner anywhere on the west side of the island. - when driving into Kona Paradise, on the first turn, if you see a sign that says “fresh fish” buy it immediately. - Do a Kona coffee tour - buy what you can at fruit/vege stands - visit the local beaches. Swim swim swim in these beautiful waters. - Most importantly, respect the Hawaiians and long time residents. That is my guiding rule wherever we travel. Do not act like a privileged traveler. Do not sweat the small inconveniences that may or may not arise. Ask questions that allow you to really listen and learn from from those around you.

Wonderful view and place

We really enjoyed this house, view and stay. It was very comfortable and well set up. We lived on the large lanai watching the ocean or close by on the beaches snorkeling. It is way far out from Kona, good eateries and bars. Go prepared to isolate.

Truly Paradise

This is a place to relax and enjoy a stunning view of the coast. Bed was so comfortable and it was very quiet at night. waking up each morning to the bird songs was heaven! Kitchen was the best equipped we have ever seen. Steps as mentioned are a workout!. Know that this remoteness requires a about a 30 minute drive each way to any services and you're are 45 munites each way to Kona.

Amazing rental house

The views from this home are incredible. Close to a pebble beach that is never crowded so perfect to pack up a picnic and spend a day lounging. The house itself is prestine and perfect for a couples getaway. Has just about everything you need. Their are small stores nearby but definitely stock up on essentials. Great small local restaurants also arent too far. Only thing is the stairs to get up to the house from the car port are no joke, so pack lightly if you can. My husband and I are pretty decent shape, but it got us the first few times! :) Also the driveway and road to the house are steep so if you're renting a car low to the ground be careful. We had a jeep and were very happy about it. All in all we consider it a top 3 in houses ever rented. The communication with the owners was also fabulous which is helpful. They were available to help us with questions when needed before and during the stay. Can't wait to come back!

The Kona Cliff House offers a terrific step workout - no need for Peloton at this location ! Well appointed perch with expansive (and seductive) ocean view. Fully equipped house with painstaking attention given to assure maximum comfort. Outdoor shower and full laundry room on lower level is a big plus. Friendly neighbors. We have been visiting the Hawaiian Islands for over 25 years enjoying all things ocean (swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing) and exploring the island. Every Hawaiian Island is unique and lovely in its own way and we fell in love with the Big Island. There are many secret beaches, coffee farms, waterfalls, wildlife and wonderful flora and fauna on the island.

We enjoyed fully renovating our vacation home with imported tile from Italy, custom exotic mahogany kitchen cabinets and stocking it with everything needed for a wonderful vacation home. We know you will love our Kona Cliff House our romantic getaway at Pebble Beach as much as we do!
